The dango song is so cute! I agree that I didn't think too much of the songs when I first heard them but they're the type that really grow on you.

All of a sudden it came to me: now that they changed the lyrics of 'A Tiny Palm' into 'Dango Daikazoku', is there any chance of the original song coming up in the anime at all?

AIR is definitely the best Soundtrack out of them (kanon/air)...

Have to see how CLANNAD goes though, havn't actually got that one yet...

In my opinion, you should get on that as fast as you can. It's quite the experience hearing these tracks in the show, when you actually know them before hand.

Spoiler for not really a spoiler, but just in case:

IMO, they will probably play 小さなてのひら at the end of the After Story. After all, this is the real ED in the game, I will be very surprised and upset if it is left out in the TV series.

As someone remarked in the general thread, if the song is played at the end of every episode, the "impact" will be reduced significantly. So it is possible that KyoAni is reserving the song for the big moment.
