And being the ultimate kid parent probably gets to her from time to time, so drugs are likely. But only if they're on sale! I feel you, man. But we got like 18 more eps to go! |

I was not complaining, mind you ... I guess I was kinda (pleasantly) surprised more than anything.
I think there have been attempts at showing emotional growth in the other girls too, so its not like it was really "unfair" for me or anything.

That naked Haruka-like thing isn't actually Haruka - its name is Nonowa.
Originally it was a crude ASCII art of Haruka jokingly created on 2ch, it caught on so well that it became a separate character of its own. All the fans knows this character, and recently even the official material is recognizing it. Fun facts: * Nonowa has no gender * Its facial feature/expression never changes - it is always のワの - which are hiragana of "no" and katakana of "wa" - hence the name * it is always naked, but since it has no gender that's not a problem * it can't speak or make any noise

I'm so glad to that I'm an iM@S fan..(T^T)
After waiting for six long(!?) episodes we finally get to episode 7 featuring Yayoi...and her family, whom looks quite a bit differnt then the last time I saw them on the iM@S platinum album image. And we get a decent chunk of Hibiki...oh, and Iori too Yayoi is just...the PERFECT young lady, if by chance should I ever have a daughter of my own then I could only pray that she'd turn out half as good as Yayoi. Moving on... Iori's house was...actually smaller then I imagined. I've always imagined something along the lines of the White House or the Taj Mahal. Whatever... Why was I not suprised that Iori has never visited the "commoners' " super market? It was no more surprising then how popular Yayoi was with the employee of the super market. I'd give a big pat on the back to the guy who gave Yayoi a head start on getting sales goods of the day, thank you kind sir. Yayoi's house on the other hand was actually better then what I've always imagined...I didnt think it'd have a second floor and it wasnt as "shabby"...should I say? ...HOLY CR@P!! Is that... Nonowa-san!!? *shivers in fear* Didnt think I'd see Nonowa-san in the anime... Urm...where was I? Right, wrapping it up. Wouldnt be a Yayoi episode if they didnt play "Kirame Kirari". LOVE-THAT-SONG!!!!!! Yayoi's little brother is a perv...get your hands off our Hibiki kid. Surprised to see Iori actually playing with the kids. Had a tearful moment when the Takatsuki siblings had what is possibly their first "real" fight...cuz I thought it was going to be a happy-go-lucky episode from start to end. Iori's cuteness points rose quite a bit for me due to this episode...and the so called "Producer" was useless as ever...big surprise I'd rather see the big walking "P" from the "Puchi Masu/Petite iDOLM@STER" manga. *phew*

Hmmm... it seems that people actually underestimate the usefulness of the Producer in this particular incident. It was him who suggested to Iori to think about "where would you go in this situation?", which allowed Iori to realize just where Chosuke was hiding. It's not the same as the Producer finding Chosuke himself, but he did contribute if by a bit.

In my opinion, Im@s outdo K-on in term of execution and focus because every few episodes we SEE the cast doing things we expect from idols. Instead of slacking around and eating cakes.

Considering the source material for K-On, they never were that serious about music. The anime was the same as the manga: a slice of life series with a light touch of music.
As much as I hoped K-On would focus more on the music since the songs were well done, the music was never a main focus of the series. |
