What stories are we talking about? News stories, or your self-made fan fictions?
If it's the latter and you want to post 'em on these forums, try Fan Creations... There are also several websites out there for posting fan fictions as well.

It's alternate history, not a fanfic, hence the question.

Hmm... you could try deviantArt? You can upload literature works there.

The Fan Creations forum doesn't specifically limit itself to anime. I know that I and a few others created threads for our photography, which was not anime-related. Whether your alternate history fiction works would be popular there or not, I can't say, but it wouldn't be against the forum rules.

I would second FictionPress, although lately it's been having uploading and editing tool issues (a scripting issue with the site itself, not people's computers/browsers). Others I like are Writer's Cafe and Booksie. Story Write is another possibility; it's not as popular (and the site layout is kind of awkward to me) but the community isn't bad.

Of course, you could also post on DeviantArt if you feel like dealing with... well... deviants.

Hopefully, she just over-simplified... it just happens that eastern philosophy complements modern physics theory nicely in some aspects. Most of the 20th century physicists verbally noted the parallels at some points -- but basically there's just some nice parallels. Without the math to back it up, its just brainstorming and hand waving.

There's were a number of books put out in the last 20/30 years that discuss the parallels
The Dancing Wu Li Masters is probably one of the better books that doesn't get too ridiculous - it just notes that many aspects fit nicely while teaching you a bit about eastern philosophy and modern physics.

What's bigger, a monkey or pipe wrench?

As an extension of that, which would be more suited for hitting things?

But the word she used for charge has me puzzled. It sounded like "tsuzuke", would this be right? I thought she should have said something like "kougeki kaishi" or just "ike!"
Anyone help me with this?

Monkey Wrench

Pipe Wrench

Looks like overall the monkey wrench is bigger, but the pipe wrench is far more common. Also, if by "hitting things" you mean zombie heads, I'd take the pipe wrench. It seems easier to handle in a fight, while still being able to dish out brain damage.

They both seem like standard-issue 1d6 weapons to me. Unless there is something different about their respective armour-penetration modifiers I don't know about, I believe both are equally effective against your average two- or three-hit dice humanoid zombie. I'd rather go with my +5 Holy Sword of Undead Slaying any time but, hey, when you're in the middle of World War Z, you've got to make do with whatever you have.

I think the monkey wrench has a minutely higher chance of armor-penetration but at the cost of a lower accuracy. Might also require more strength to wield properly.

Nonono, you are talking about the Avenger of DDSOM - 1-hit-kill for all undead.

There are several classes of these wrenches. We had one at a science museum I worked at that had been used on oil rigs that was six feet long. It was 2H 1d20+ I'm guessing .... I labeled it "Emergency Internet Tuning Wrench" and hung it on the wall outside our office.

Are they as big as those extra-large combo wrenches by Stanley Proto? Those are probably 2d20.

Ok such a big wrech is quite heavy and getting hit by one is no joke.

But 2d20 is a bit too much damage. First of all, it's an improvised weapon. And 2d20 is god tier (think Cthulhu).
I'd say that is a d4+1 at best.

So the forum statistics showed that the most number of users/ guests on the forum was ~2600 in the 3rd October 2010, which is triple the usual amount (like now).

Anyone know which popular series aired ,or finished that day, that the forum attract so much attentions?

Where would it be safe to detonate a Nuclear Bomb?

Assuming it takes place on the dark side of the Earth, anywhere between the exosphere and Mars.

Ofcourse I know it should be as far as possible, but where would the relatively-safe zone be?
