I'm just complaining that all the recent shoujo manga adaptations that we're getting belong to certain genres, and we rarely ever get something different... even though there are many awesome shoujo manga that are not high school romances or fantasy adventure romances. It's like anime producers are trying to solidify the stereotypes about shoujo manga... |

Bones do have a strong track record of bringing solid manga to life on screen, so I'm sure this show will be good for what it is. It just doesn't seem a challenging choice to adapt as others have suggested. I struggle to recall seeing a shoujo horror anime though. |

Sounds like a good plot and I'll check out the manga, but the redhaired MC gives me some serious Yona vibes.

OMG! This is fudging awesome! I absolutely adore this manga! Crossing my fingers for at least two-cours and hope that they won't fudge up the adaptation.
Ah, good news to end the night. (Now I'm hoping they may animate Dengeki Daisy next...:3 Too bad one of my all time favorite, Kanata Kara, will never get an anime... ...or the hope that Demon Eyes Kyo will ever get a proper adaptation. =_= ...sorry, going off topic here.)

Just read a few chapters, and I'm really digging this. I don't think the term "quiet dignity" describes any other shoujo manga as aptly as it does this one.
I have faith in BONES. Their original shows tend to vary in quality, but their adaptations are fantastic. I have very fond memories of Zetsuen no Tempest. |

this is one of the best manga out there! the heroine is not wimpy and helpless, so don't expect your ordinary kind of need-saving-girl.
and the hero isn't a smartass. I've been expecting an animation. Great to finally see it! hope the art will be the same as the one in the manga.
