Volume 16 was recently released which featured a certain time traveler. Is this the last volume?

judging from the afterword, apparently it ended

P.S: i'm not so sure, the book listed in wikipedia said it still continue at 16 volumes,
the afterwords reek of ending
the last few pages i skimped through, said, Namidare Rekka' story is still continue

EDIT: apparently Izure shinwa no Ragnarok is also one of his work, gave me more motivation to read it.

I'm glad that it's finally coming out, but does anyone know how j-novel works? So it seems that release parts of the chapters online periodically. But is it only the first volume, chapter, etc?

The first chapter is free. To read the rest of the chapters, you must be a paying member. There are 2 paying levels. Once a book is finished translation, it comes off the web site and a little later after final proofing, it goes on sale as a complete ebook through the usual retailers.

The idea is to let those who can't wait until the book is done have a chance to read it chapter by chapter as soon as they're done. If you want to wait for the final product, you can do that too.

Edit: I should make clear. The subscription gives you access to all chapters of all books on the site.

Vol 1-4 was finished in J-novel and vol 5 is being translated.

I just finished reading vol 1-3 these past few days and half way through vol 4 so while taking a break, I checked the last few volumes. It looks like that the last arc started in vol 14 when Rekka start loosing his saved heroines. As the final arc starts, I'm not sure but its in the future. the final arc is the war of all? or end war or whatever but the heroines are all mature. man, princess iris is beautiful, heck everyone turn nice. I just didn't get who the heck, is that female in vol 15. female version of rekka? the final heroine is R. Final volume features all out war from present and future, plus all the previews boss fights shows up to make it more fun

I can't wait to read it all. Though the ending felt an open ending. I just wanted it to continue for more but it looks like the end is there.

just wondering, how many girls had fallen for Rekka at the end, and which ones had kissed him (not on the cheek but on the lips) Did either Satsuki or Iris get the chance to do it with him without getting interrupted?
