Rion devotes himself to be just a Mob in the school that is the setting for the Otome game but....

Rion, in order to escape the marriage the legal wife of his father want to put him (with a 65 years-old pervert hag), decides to use his knowledge of the game (to protect his chastity) to go and find treasures from the game to sell and with the money, cancel the marriage. Both his Father and Mother(who is the mistress of his father) try to support him by providing him with an airship and the necessary items to travel.

After he departs he start searching for islands that hold treasures, however in the way he managed to find a secret island from the game. Here he finds the AI Luxion, who manages all the facilities in the island (basically, this island holds a lot of advanced technology that one could get from paying for a DLC in the game to make it easier).He manages to get Luxion to recognize him as a master and Luxion provides him with all the equipment the island has.

Eventually, he gets back to his house with all the treasures he found in other islands thanks to the spaceship (yes, spaceship) he got from Luxion and manages to cancel the arranged marriage. Howerer due to the fact that he found an undiscovered island and the money he got from the treasures, he got promoted by the kingdom, making him the head of his own branch of the house to rule over the territory he found and as such, is forced to join the advanced class for Nobles in the school...where most noble ladies act like his father's legal wife, looking down on men and some of them even having demi-human servants(lovers) and with him being the head of a house, he will need to marry someone of an appropiate rank and so, he will need to find a partner to marry during his stay in the school, due to the fact that men will have trouble to marry the longer time it passes.

From the author of Sevens, I started reading this one 2 months ago and found it very interesting, one of the reasons being that the original heroine of the otome game is not the usual trash heroine you often see in Otome games isekai (although this character does appear in the story, but is another person), instead being a truly kind girl and likeable heroine.

Since the author is going to post the arc 3 soon (currently he has 70k characters done out of 100k before he start posting) I thought about having a thread ready for when it happens.

Edit: Web novel completed so other than the occasional update of side stories/intermissions from time to time no more updates planned for it.
Also do note than in the LN starting from Vol 4 it's going to have some changes compared to the WN and starting Vol 5 its going to be completely different to the WN so it's likely the ending of the LN won't be the same as the WN (it's also possible it will last more than just 7 Vol compared to the WN)

ugh. too many boys. wtf is this. Reminds me of Seven when the little sister created her own harem but here, we got illustrations for bunch of pretty boys.

While I don't like for the character pool to be majority girls. I loath more to have lots of boys. Balance is best for me.

Well it's up there in teh title:"Otomegee" = Otome game for girls - unless you assume girls = lesbians, a sausage fest is to be expected...

Which is also why I'm questioning the logic of the MC's dad having a mistress when it should be the other way round...

MC is passive, but the queen is literally the only one who he tries to woe.
She seems to be in MC's strikezone , and he likes to tease her and make her blush finding it cute.
As for the other two girls, MC is now in despair since he misunderstood that the two are lesbians for each other.
