An empire where the people aren't attracted or feel loyal to it is short-lived.

actually ,a lot of person like kou ( both monarchies( 1 emperor family and kouen) are respected by the population)..+ they are the winning force...but, the moment kou loses a few battles, the country is going to burn(in rebellions and for the invaders)

There's also Parthevia, even though they are probably the one in the worst shape out of all the great powers.

Finished reading the chapter. As someone said, we should always remember how primitive the current world's magic is compared to Alma Toran's magic. It's like 18th century's cannon vs 21st century's ICBM. Magnostadt probably reached late 19th century lvl at least...

But I think this is not Gyokuen/Arba's true power, she hasn't gotten serious yet. Back in the Alma Toran arc, we had seen her using magic at Island-busting level. Those spell she used this chapter is not even at the level of Aladdin vs Titus fight, the damage is not big enough to make me feel "woah".

Summary:

Both Judar and Hakuryuu states that even if she is strong, they need to kill her because if they don't, they will only be able to live in hatred and unable to move on a single step

Judar activates the isolation barrier, states that it is a forbidden spell researched and created by Mogamett and as long as anyone is in the circle, no one can use any form of magic be it Zagan or Phenex

Hakuryuu manages to surprise Arba and attacks her, however, she confronts him with a sword of her own. "Solomon might have been the best magician, but I was the strongest swordsman". She gains the upper hand.
Arba: “Were you dreaming? Was it a pleasant dream in which you killed me?”
"…!! Gyokuen… I… you… I’ll ki—-!!"
*She freaking kisses him*
"I see… so you hate me that much, Hakuryuu. I’m so glad~~!! Hakuryuu~~!!",she replies with a creepy smile.
Just as she was going to give him the finishing blow, the generals save him, and stand before Arba.
