Pretty lengthy trailer. The more I see of the show the harder it is to believe Gen's the one writing it. Of course even if it ends up being lighter than the other stuff he's done, I'll be very surprised if even half the characters from that trailer are alive at the end

I hope this work will break his image of butcher a little bit. It'd be interesting to get something different from him.

The preview looks great and it looks like we are in for an adventure. But what got me most impressed was the range of characters. Oh and I approve of Sugita Tomokazu. I will be looking forward to this. While Gen hasn't written a favorite anime of mine yet, I find all his series enjoyable and hey with consistency like that one cannot complain.

Just watched the trailer, and it hooks me even more. I heard the pre-screening behind the first two episodes were good, and the animation was pretty excellent. There's also a nice pantyshot for Amy, and I'm hoping to see Gen Urobuchi breaking its standards on this one !

It must have some very powerful anti-grav-engines, so it doesn't instantly sink to the bottom of the sea XD
Same goes for the purple mech, where they forgot to give it feet! XD It shouldn't be able to stand, much less walk. Yet another impossibility. Quote:

Chamber has most of the traditional attributes of a super robot seemingly, which also includes having the power to be summoned by the pilot. |

Here's a working link:
I'm really liking the premise, which shares a no. of similarities with Lagrange - humans expanded throughout the galaxy, Earth had long been forgotten while those who were left behind rebuilt their own civilisation. Though I'm sure "homecoming" in this case won't be as light-hearted. I can see one possbile route Urobuchi may take is to have the first few eps of slice of life and then the aliens find out about Earth and Red can't get help from his own people due to Earth being "off the grid". |

Case in point, Psycho-Pass, which is laughably dull. |

Wrong kind of unpredictable, but in any case of course it also has to make sense given the narrative up to that point.
My argument is that Urobuchi having a bunch of people die yet again wouldn't be interesting to watch, as it's just par for the course at this point. |
