What the hell did I just watch?! They are not even trying to make coherent episodes now. Did anyone catch the part where the Kangaroo's joey popped Lee?
The only point of this episode was to tell us Izumo and Kotetsu are gay and in love with each other. Which we already knew. The only funny part was the omake. If you don't want to watch the episode, just watch the omake. Izumo and Kotetsu complain about how they never get to do anything important and how Shikamaru, who they use to lord over, has passed them now. So they vow to solve Jiraiya's code before he does. So of course they hold hands for some reason because they love each other. Tsunade walks in on them holding hands, blushes, and then quickly leaves saying she is sorry for interrupting. |

well... it was weird as hell, i was "LOL WUT" the entire episode... but it was so damn funny: 1. When the plants and the aardvark ate Shino's bugs 2. Kotetsu's flashbacks 3. The final omake was one of the greatest (or gayest) ever!!! Tsunade's face was soooooo priceless... Next Episode remembers me this: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/ency...me.php?id=1390

That was the gayest episode of Naruto ever....
Spoiler for episode:
Interesting stuff: -Shino's never behaved the way he was when his bugs were being eaten/killed (except for that episode where they made him lol -An armadillo? Really? -"When we get back, it'll be my turn to help you out." -"This is a flashback." The fact that this is Naruto makes this statement incredibly ironic. Gold star. |

Hallarious filler.
Crazy ninja animals. Poor shino. He got 1 shot two times with SUPER EFFECTIVE! moves. The fighting kangaroo was just epic. Reminds me of that tekken kangaroo fighter. And the last bit of the entire episode was just epic. "Its not what you think!" Tsunade sama!

Its weird how in the naruto universe it seems only jounins or anbu that are placed infront of the watchers and play a roll are actually good at fighting etc. But the off side ones like kotetsu izumo etc are like.....the genins seemed like they were stronger than these jounins and they played it out like the jounin exam was hard, when all we do is see them get mass owned or they just fail horribly.
Kind of irks me x.x These fillers are killing me though, bleach is closer to the manga than naruto is and they still keep moving forward while naruto is still far away but doing yet another filler fest ><

Clearly an episode meant to invoke a few laughs. And they didn't do a half bad job at it either IMO. If I had to quickly summarize the episode and it's theme, the term "no homo" comes to mind.
It'll balance out though. Because I can all but guarantee you Bleach is going to need a near 100 episode filler arc once the current season is over. On the other hand, Naruto's filler arc is bound to be significantly shorter than that. |

The ravaged village of Konoha could only watch helplessly as Pain, the wielder of the feared Rinnegan, rose his arms into the air, preparing to unleash a terrible jutsu. "Summoning jutsu: Deadly Flashback Episodes of Filler Hell!" he yelled as his hands quickly formed seals. Out of a puff of thick smoke came one bad episode after another. They spanned for as far as the eye could see, taking up the schedule of November, December, and possibly extending into January and beyond! "How can we survive this?!" Kakashi wondered aloud with a look of shock painted across his face. "NARUTO? WHERE ARE YOU? WE NEED YOU!" Sakura wept. "How troublesome..." Shikamaru's voice trailed off. Spoiler for Ninja ostriches? Really?:

Ninja ostrich omitted deadly ansatsu kick and hadou-beak, but it was quite the fearsome battle nevertheless! Loved Shino's reaction at his bugs being eaten, he always got that smug look on his face...well, except that one time with lolling Shino
