And that heavy runover is due in less than seven minutes. Sho, what can you tell us down there?

Sho: Right now, we can tell you that Linkin Park is performing "Burn It Down" in front of everybody here, and I can't hear anything you're saying. Just listen to the music!

Spoiler:

Hopefully we'll get your ears fixed Sho, this will be over soon. We'll be back.

Here comes the calvary for Toki, we're going to have a bit of a photo finish here. Interestingly enough, Toki is still inside the bus that contained the Saki Party members while Kuro is at her seat. Perhaps something is telling in that? Once again, Toki's rush now has taken place, and we are off to a photo finish, pending the moment of truth in 10 minutes time.

I can only hope it's legit and that reinforcements have really arrived. Non-Saki HanaKana faction members to the rescue, perhaps? It seems too good to be true, though. Keep your fingers crossed, Kuro supporters!

We'll see later when the smoke clears and our new champion emerges.

edit:
Oh, here comes Toki's rush...

The polls have closed for the final time and Mami Tomoe will be announcing the winner of the 2channel Anime Saimoe Tournament in a few minutes. Everyone, hold your breath, this is news that will either shock the world or shock the world. Your choice, here on 2channel World.

Toki is now heading with the others to her seats, as directed by the event organizers.

My bets on Kuro since her difference is too large to be overtaken in just 5mins.

If the difference can be upset in 5mins, I say, some people sure have god hands.

I honestly hope that Kuro wins.

One reasons is that it's clearly what my Sayaka Bro Coldlight wants.

Secondly, it would be the more surprising ending.

Edit: Well, that hope was dashed pretty fast, lol.

Congratulations to Toki Onjouji for her victory tonight.

That was a near-miracle rush for Kuro, but in the end it wasn't enough. Toki owns the true Miracle Rush. Looks like it's a Neutral End for me, but honestly it wasn't at all that bad.

As I said before - Kuro, gokurou-sama deshita for making it this far and actually giving Toki a run for her money near the end.

For everyone else, otsukare-sama deshita!
(good work)

Me(Toki Supporter ver.): This history of the Triple Future rush... No one, and I mean, no one will erase that history.

Hachi: Engine-cut!

*Unit explodes due to overload.*

To be honest, I am a Toki fan ja...

And there you have it, folks. Toki lives up to the hype, is tested but finally wins out in the final hour to be the next Saimoe Prime Minister and the next 2channel Anime Saimoe Champion. That's wraps it up here in Tokyo. Thanks for following the 2channel Anime Saimoe Tournament Grand Final on 2channel World. We'll see you all...next year. Otsukare-sama! Good night and good morning!

Around 600 votes in a final. How sad Saimoe has become

Kuro got one extraordinary rush there just at the end and came a lot closer to Toki than I thought possible; in fact that rush looks just too vertical to be true. Still, in the end the champion was indeed the champion.

A miserably poor vote total though, for a final. Not even 600 votes? How far has this competition fallen!

A pretty relentless performance by Toki overall. In fact, I think it might be the most relentless I've seen since starting to watch this competition in 2006. Last year we had Madoka domination, but it there was still some uncertainty over which girl would be chosen as the champ; back in 2008 there was some credible competition in the form of Hina and Nagisa to Kagami's seemingly predetermined rise to the top; but this year, there really has been nothing standing in Toki's way. Once Akarin's lack of presence was revealed, it was clear that Toki would stroll to victory.

Anyway, Akari and Toki were my personal favourites for the title, so I'm satisfied with the result. I just wish we could see the competition opened up again.

Edit: correction, it seems there were slightly over 600 votes, still pretty poor!
