Probably so Shizuru will join Rokuro's party. Now that Mayura is more serious about Shimon, the stupid mangaka needs to replace her with another girl with a crush on Rokuro to keep the harem vibe going.

If you're right, then we'll just have more harem teasing without it actually coming to fruition since we all know he'll be with only Benio in the end. I don't like this.

But I mean, why did those Impurities only go after the males? What's the real, in-story, reason?

Well, no reason to guess before getting a translation, but it's pretty logical to go after the strongest first. (no sexism btw, just a fact in this case)

I just read Benio Chapter 2.

Well, we already know that the Miko will be born this time since one of the chapters showed that the one narrating is the Miko (I don't remember which), but it might be good to see what happens for now. I just hope nothing too bad happens due to Benio becoming an Impurity. I'm sure people will try to kill her because she became an Impurity, though. Hopefully this time, everyone will find out somehow about the story the Chinu just told Benio. Although may not believe if Benio herself tells them.

I think Benio would reside at Kegare's world from now on... she would just pop out occasionally in real world to help Rokuro

except.... if Enmadou House would gain a special protection from several big families
Pretty sure Shimon and Mayura would be the first supporter

Well that was one heck of a chapter...What a mess. Can totally believe the spectrum of reactions from the previous Lunas. From outright suicide, to trying the ritual, to just saying "I'm done" and living quietly away from all this. And it makes sense that the Miko has never been born to this point. There's just too many paths of failure. Even if someone survives this ritual (which isn't guaranteed) they might get killed by exorcists or their Sol partner might just get killed before they can reunite.

Things are going to get tricky. Of course Benio will make it through this ritual, but the road past that isn't going to be easy. Sure there is an attack coming, but while Kamui was hit while in a rare moment of distraction he should bounce back.

The road ahead is going to be interesting though.

Yeah, they'll most likely try to kill her on sight. Unless they can be convinced somehow that she isn't hostile. And the Miko has to be born this time, too, so both she and Rokuro have to survive at least until they manage to conceive a child.

Maybe Rokuro will be able to protect her when he awakens his true power like she did. He probably still hasn't broken out of his shell yet.

This chapter is also explaining about why Miko never born.. it is because Twin Star would grow apart from the point the Yin Princess gained her power... since she got the power of impurities, people would view her as an enemy, therefore her relationship with her Yang counterpart would change a lot.. in next chapter, Basara is probably died because of defending the ritual outside It is also shocking to learn that Chinu existed only to assist Twin Star as well.. I hope we could see her more in the future and in the main story

Rokuro's situation doesn't look too promising either, but at least he has his plot armor. (for some reason I think he will try undo the seal put by Arima by cutting his arm off or something like that.
