Had a few more games platooning with Blaat again today to clear my dailies and most went well especially this fluke of a match where most of of team made the disastrous decision to follow us down the same side of the map leaving the flank open but by some miracle we managed to pull a win out of the bag.

Only need another 600.000 creds to buy the black prince =]

It wasn't the best match for my M3 Lee since I just went around spamming bullets at heavy tanks. But at one moment, an SU-100 covered for me against a Hetzer when I was tracked. Was really awesome for what he did.

I currently have 19 and plan on going to 20 max, but could change in the future.

T54E1, Centurion 7/1(114k xp), FV215b, Tortoise(65k xp), Lowe, Lorraine 40t, AMX50 120(85k xp), AMX 50Foch, T29, PzIV, PzIVS, VKDouchebag, TigerP, Hetzer, Ferdi, AMX 13 90, KV-1S, KV-2, IS-3(132k xp)

New addition will be Indien and eventually Leopard 1. I have 9 German crews sitting in barrack with over 175% perks ready for use.

I'm planning on grabbing all the tank tree lines except for light tanks and SPGs. I can never play them effectively enough.

Okay, so here's my current Garage, by tier, post-x5 Weekend:

X- None, thankfully. Wanna take my time on this one.
IX - E-75
VIII - Tiger-2, IS-3, AMX 13 90, T-44, Centurion mk-I
VII - Comet, T-43, IS (all currently without crew due to lack of cash)
VI - VK 3601 H, KV-1S, AT-8, Type 62 (yep, I bought it, now I can use that Chinese crew!)
V - M4 Sherman, PzIV, StuG III, T-34, Churchill mk III
IV - Grille, Char B1 bis
III - Pz38 (t)
II - Pz35 (t), T1E5

I think I have a lot of CB-capable tanks, so I suppose it boils down to scheduling and getting the VOIP. I'm going to dive headlong into my Master's Thesis writing this term onward though, so I can't really say I can allocate as much time during the weekend as I usually do.

One more day to this madness. Good luck everyone, and lets hope our stats come out on a positive than in the red!

Damnit, it's annoying when Oppa is out of town for today......

Thanks for Birthday Bundle #2, Touma. I'll pay back with the I Can Haz Tanks Weekend Event specials.

But wouldn't that just torpedo their finances even further? XD

By the way, I'm still not seeing how the T-44 is inherently better than the Type 59, aside from possibly the radio. Then again I'm still about 6k away from the last engine, so it might just be that, because I'm finding that the acceleration needs work.

P.S. I haven't experienced the infamous 1-hit ammo rack detonation that everyone fears from the late tier T-series yet, but that's probably because I bought a wet-ammo part early. ^^;

It's scary how addictive this game is despite me being embarrassingly bad at it. I managed to completely torpedo most of my stats during a session that lasted about 7 hours.

My first Pool's medal. Northside, about one third of the team died in the magic forest charging in, the other almost two-thirds died trying to cap against like two or three enemies (*facepalm*). I was at first fighting in the frontlines on the leftside, then charged into the city and dealt with the enemies coming from the east, then wiped out the last PzIV's that eliminated my stupid team.

I was helped by having a fellow M4 (survivor) to distract a troublesome AT-2 and the very last Panzer. Otherwise, it was me against the world and I just so happen to have just the right weapon.

x5 battle, so epic experience. Too bad I wasn't running premium. :<

Well, we have plenty, it's just that he's really stingy about games

My first battle with the Ferdinand has been a success. I loved the firepower of the 12,8 cm PaK 44 L/55, and the speed is pretty good for me even with the 2x Porsche Typ 100/3. Did I mention I basically bounced all shots at me, which totaled to over 2,000 hp worth of potential damage?

Seems like I chose the right path.

Yeeeeah, long sessions tend to do that. It's always a good idea to step back a bit (I watch an anime episode when I do), then come back later, if only to avoid a downward spiral of bad losses. Unless you're not really stat-conscious, which means that it's fine.

And oh, it looks like the time to repurchase the (shudder) VK 3002 DB is fast approaching. I fear with much fear, yes I do.

Well thinking about it, he has a point - some years ago a game would cost $50 or so new, then decrease greatly in price for the next few years. If you make just a few purchases of gold or premium account/tanks, the amount WG reaps from you may easily surpass that $50 mark.

OTOH, going out to eat, paying for textbooks, and the like all cost quite a bit in comparison to the s.c. "micropayments".

Yep, pretty sly (and in some ways insidious) mode of business they have here. A gradual fleecing rather than a one-time-big-time charge ala the Idolmaster DLCs (which are some of the most expensive expansions anywhere).

*coughs* Anyway I've only have experience with German TDs, and now UK TDs, but I need to ask what are the quirks of the USSR TDs? Because I've seen more than a few heavies flee in terror from a well-placed ISU-152.

Since I'm done for the night (because I can't be up getting x5 on everything), I ended the event .03 winrate lower than when I started... which, at 53.54%, still is not bad.

I made up for the rage-inducing Himmelsdorf Encounter game by getting a Top Gun in the Churchill III in the very next game, taking the rather un-Churchillish approach of stomping up the middle hill in Redshire from the south. It was low tier but there was a lot of artillery, which got... interesting.

Biggest peeve this weekend: Players who managed to totally fail to cover people that were capping. Specifically, they would be hiding behind the capping player. If I hadn't been killed already, I would have hunted them down myself.
