Yes, but that was before her trauma. She was a candidate for the eighth Level 5 for a reason, but her development was halted due to that so she isn't as powerful.

Kuroyoru Umidori can be considered to be stronger than a Level 5 because she can use her ability 100 (or very many) times in a split second. Take note that her ability is constrained to her hands, so she is fitted with mechanical arms that allow her to spam her ability.

New Testament is surprisingly more intense than I had originally envisioned from the summaries. I love those situations where just when you thought the enemy was down- He pulls out a power suit, inside a power suit, inside a power. Or when you thought it couldn't get any worse- Bam! Ten Power Suits crawl out of the wood works! Also, I love a good chase scene, and there's no better chase scenes than [Road Warrior on the Freeway] chase scenes!

Btw, Hamazura totally did a Touma move right there, I don't understand exactly what he did to defeat Silver Cross, but that was definitely a Touma move.

One more other thing, somehow I had the mental impression that Silver Cross was a fat-otaku-ish character with a mecha feitish- Didn't expect him to be a bishounen!

As for juicy inbetweens, they don't really compare to what I've written already.

Here's a brief summary anyway:

Spoiler for SS stuff:

-Fukiyose and Kumokawa argue about their hairstyle. Aogami and Motoharu comment on those two's bust size, and Himegami is despairing over not being that big. Kumokawa teases Fukiyose who looked like she's shocked and asks if she has any ulterior reasons to not hand it to Touma.

-Fukiyose decided it's more like a punishment game to have to go to Touma's place, and foisted the job onto Komoe.

-Komoe was planning to go out drink for the whole night, but that plan was shattered by Fukiyose. She's conflicted that matters of love is a sensitive topic for teenagers and is worried about what to do, but Yomikawa just says it's alright as long as nobody gets pregnant.

-Yomikawa and Komoe went along to deliver the letter anyway., with Yomikawa laughing and said this is Komoe's fault for not inviting her out to drink. Komoe looked troubled about keeping a eye on her students VS their privacy, then Yomikawa joked does Komoe has some reason to not pass the letter along?

-Mikoto was walking by when the letter was blown out of Komoe's hands by a gust and towards her. #10032 comes and prevents Mikoto getting it, accusing Mikoto is planning to hand that letter over to Touma to get some praise. Mikoto KOs Kuroko with a judo throw before the teleporter sees #10032. Mikoto starts arguing with 10032, thinking if she loses to her clone what's the point of being the Original?

-Maika got the letter while passing by, and Motoharu tried to intercept the letter (for dark side business, not for laughs at Touma later) Maika refused, but then realised someone else took the letter while she's not looking.

-It turns out it's Kazakiri who got the letter, after seeing how it got blown all over the place. She decided to drop it off at Touma's place herself to save the trouble. She thought about Index might see it, but then thought it didn't matter.

-Index heard something being dropped off, but saw nothing coming through.

-A 'seinen' aged male took the letter using wire, and tried to read it. Kumokawa shows up behind him and proceeds to hypnotise/interrogate him. She ends by saying people won't obey hypnotised orders that endanger their own life... but she'll see if that's really the case by testing it out on him.

-Touma got to school the next day, and found he's the subject of the male students' ill will. He confronts Kumokawa and asked if she tried anything, which she denied. He complains she's hard to figure out/capture (galgame reference), which she counters easily saying she's actually not trying to stop him.
The story ends with Kumokawa saying there's a lot of things going on in places he don't know - like in the places not in his memory.

And how to deny being a tsundere without being seen as one? I'd say don't put too much emotion into it, being flustered will just prove otherwise.

We never found out what was in the letter.

Uhmm... If I may ask from any translators on B-T, where do you buy your NT novel? Also, the previous novels as well, i began to love the series and hoping to read more. I tried amazon and ebay but it seems that there aren't any, I'm living in the US, can anyone help me? Thanks..

Indeed. As of now Touma just has more power than them in that state. We have no idea if he can actually use it in any creative way. I'd be surprised if he couldn't though given he's forced to be a resourceful person with the situations he's put in. Then again, he probably hasn't made any headway in that direction since he realized there was actually something in him.

you can buy the light novels through the Japanese amazon, there is an English version of the Japanese amazon and you can order everything without having to struggle with japanese / shipping to the us is gonna be pricey though especially now with the dollar so weak

p.s i think you should post future questions regarding merchandise /well in the to aru merch thread

Seriously, what the hell was Touma involved in before losing his memory? lol. If Kumokawa knows he lost his memory it's because she could tell that something was different about him and that things didn't connect; unless Heaven Canceler told her. If the former's the case, then that means Touma had to have been involved with Kumokawa somehow in the past, which means he was probably in the dark side of Academy City before meeting Index. And I mean more involved than just fighting random Skill-Out members. Hell, why was he fighting Skill-Out in the first place?
