Did you forget the "Raping" possibility? Sometime to me, that is the only way to get through Ichika's dense. And we all know how far could an Orimura woman go in order to get what she want!

I watched some of this. Not bad for a mecha genre show.

Although it got flak in the ANN community for some plot holes like why ISes are female only when Ichika can pilot it.

I don't consider it a plot hole so much as it's a plot device... Those people throw around the term at everything they don't like these days.

Okay, this question is really bugging me. Why did they replace the previous character designer for IS when making IS2? Kurashima Tomoyasu did a fine job as both the Character Designer AND the Chief Animation Director, and the series quite clearly sold well, so the reason as to why he was replaced escapes me.

Does anyone here know enough Japanese to find this out? Did he ask for too much money to do IS2?
