Well, cookies for those who figured Urtear would sacrifice herself and Gray wouldn't stay dead for long (And that means, cookies for all of us)

Now, I'd be bummed if Urtear isn't really dead (Hey, leave us some dead people too!)
Mashima, you could do better.

i didn't feel much from this chapter to my shock, everyone guess on what she would do. the only thing i want out of this chapter is for someone to find ultear and let her know what she did was worth it. i did know this will tear that pink girl apart when she see her. i am still wondering how levy got that scar.

Isn't Ultear's technique a Rave Master reference? In Rave, "Last Ages" is supposed to be a spell that makes the user stronger, but also makes them age rapidly; they literally say the user sacrifices their "time".

She rewind time by 1 minute, but before that minute, she was elsewhere.....and not cast the spell yet...........TIME PARADOX!

So after that minute, past Ultear will walk up to the same spot and see future Ultear's body and no need to cast Last Aegis = she lives!!!!

Seriously, why Jellal can't just die. Its not just he is a bad character, he makes others like Erza become unstable and emo/drama.

ugh, time traveling creates a lot of inconsistencies.
anyway, it could be that Ultear's time reversal didn't work on her since she was the caster. That's the only explanation I could come up with

Here it seems that Mashima decided to finish her off two weeks ago and the main reason is because he don`t know what to do with her( Cmon, in the end of Tenroujima ark Ultear decided to live if not for herself but for others like Meredy. She freed Jellal and fought dark guilds cause she knew that her death is not enough for her remittal. And surprisingly she is again persecuted by her problems. Looks really whipped up and artificial for me.
