Also, SSSS.Gridman had its own version of God Zenon called Powered Zenon.

Of course we were always going to get a second season, but I’m happy it has the same staff and seems to focus on the same characters.

Don't really care much about the content, but it is great to be promised more Trigger (I'm going to assume it is still Trigger) animation. I would have preferred if they made an original series though.

We don't actually know that, thought I expect at least the Junior High Students to show up.

The trailer was just showing SSSS Gridman clips. There is nothing shown regarding Dynazenon aside from the title.

Wait, the Dragon gets his own series?

So, they didn't show Dyna in S4 because they wanted to save him for this show? Intriguing. Definitely intriguing. I hope we get a slew of new characters. Maybe they can finally bring Gridman's little brother, Sigma into this.

I know, but would you really choose to feature those characters in a promo clip for a series they weren’t going to be in? There’d be plenty of other Gridman footage they could have used.

it's possible. It just a random clip from anime to me. No indication it will feature the same character

A good way to start a Saturday! While not perfect, Gridman was a fun ride and the ending left a good impression, in fact, I'd say its right next to kill la kill as the best trigger has put out, so this is very good news. Also good to know its the staff, for both wholesome and not so wholesome reasons.

It seems there's a twit saying this won't be S2, so most likely a same universe, different cast/story thing.

Yeah, pretty sure the cast will be entirely new, with the exception of the Middle School Students like Tokkan said. If I recall, SSS stands for them in the first place. Gridman is likely to show up in the final episode.

That's feeling I get too. SSSS Gridman is partial a re-imagining of the original series from what I understand from fans so this wouldn't be out of place.

I think it's for the better. While I would love to see more of Rikka and the others continuing their story runs the risk of messing up the, IMO, great ending they already had.

"Gridman Universe" so it seems more like a spinoff then a straight-up sequel, but I'm definitely down for something more in the vein of Gridman .

So Dyna Dragon and God Zenon fusion? The Mecha looks more bestial, so it'll be interesting how that works out and what kind of combinations we get (assuming they have something similar to all of Gridman's forms).

I mostly enjoyed the Gridman show they came up with so sign me up for whatever this turns out to be. Hard to tell what it will be about or focus on at this point. The clips were all the previous season which I'm not sure if it means they'll keep using those characters or if they just wanted to drum up hype using their previous work.

It would be a bit odd/difficult to go back with that cast of characters. So I am expecting something different, but no idea what to expect. Curious to check it out though.
