I know the mangaka is trying to get something going between emo-hair and Shigure but I really wish Kenichi would show a bit more of a spine. I know, I know, that isn't his style... but an occasional glimpse of Kenichi evolving woulda been nice...

Believe me I dont think anything is going too happen between emo-hair and Shigure, trust me I know. The only thing I think will happen is gratefulness between them. Like Shigure and Sakaki couldnt protect Kenichi, so Shigure swollowed her father´s pride and decided that Kenichi´s life was more important than her fathers´s legacy and decided too give him one of her´s fathers masterpieces if he promises not too kill and protects Kenichi.

So thats why I say the only thing that will be between them is gratefulness, She gave him a sword, and he protected Kenichi.

Yeah i think the author needs to give him a little boost,because it's kind of tiring to see him being still unable to do anything against master classes ;o

I'm cool with the fact that he still has a long way to go to reach a master level,but after all he could at least try stuff,because right now he is like a punching bag to any Grown-up master class for some reason but when it comes to Master Class disciples,he could beat that dude that wanted Miu(I think they mentioned that he was master).

Your talking about Shou right? I dont think he is or was master class, if he was then he will just level 1 master class lol.

But I do think the person who took over for Yomi when Shou died is master class and very capable so I believe he will be the ticket for Kenichi onto the stage of Master classes.
