Hmm, I felt the first episode was so-so.
It wasn't impressive but still watchable. Minor is cute to watch and the idea of the show on paper sounds interesting. However, the story feels blend while Minora is the only character that I'm interested in knowing more. It's the first episode so I guess they'll probably flesh out the other cast later. Visual quality is aveage at best imo.

eh, thought it was going to be a good watch in the beginning but impression got worse as the episode went.
then the talking cat kind of killed it for me. was hoping for a female high school version of genshiken or something

Ep.1
Original Anime (?) about anime club eh? - Minoa as MC is fun to watch. Look like there will be many characters in this show too. - I understand most anime reference. I guess my experience/knowledge in anime is quite good. - The supernatural(or fantasy?) plot near the end surprised me. From OP, maybe that cat can bring a person into an anime world. That will be interesting. Ok, I guess I will watch it.

Tropes, tropes, and more tropes. But I'm getting hints of the intent behind that. Is this going to be one of those Madoka-esque shows that uses the "anime meta" to set up expectations and then subverts them? That can always be fun.

Ok i am interested with this anime because there is a chuunibyou male character cosplaying Mao from disgaea 3.
Looking forward for more i hope Kai Musashisakai (what a badass name) will be relevant as part of main characters. |

Hmm, besides the cat stepping joke that I did not like... the episode is entertaining enough. The rich girl who likes anime sort of reminds me of a main character from another anime... Looking forward to the next ep.

Ep.2
This anime is actually fun to watch especially if you understand its many references to other anime. I really like Suzumiya Haruhi and Re:zero references. Characters interaction in the club is like how people in anime community talking to each other on various topics. The supernatural element is not touched much in this ep. still not sure where will they go with that. The Newspaper that Minoa's father was reading said something about the world first space elevator...that was odd. (Was that part of plot or a reference to Index movie..???)

i catch a lot of the (not subtles) references but some must slip by
the supernatural elements get me perplex tho, i wonder what are they going to do with that. is it just me or their 3dcg idol animation for the ending suffer from fps drops ? |

This anime is surprisingly becoming fun to watch. The argument in the club room somehow reminded me of a few lightnovel purists who keep posting light novel only things at the anime threads without spoiler tag. Anyway, will keep following this... why is the student council going after them so soon???? >__< 9/10 for hitting right on certain things

The rapid-fire references are over the top, paired with all the neo-otaku lingo (surely, nobody talks this way in real life, I don't care how hardcore they are). Even though I know most of it, I keep having to pause the video and mull over wtf was this and that, which is really disruptive.
It's still fun, because it's like a vertical slice of current year otaku culture. The closest comparison is probably Lucky Star. I liked that anime better. The show was like KyoAni's victory lap after achieving complete cultural domination with SHnY, so the references were much more contained. These days, otaku culture is such a clusterfuck that it's difficult to represent holistically.
