TV Anime Phantom in the Twilight announced. It's scheduled to premiere this Summer in July. Studio is Liden Films.

Plot

Otome game adaptation with MC chinese universitary genki with elegant girl friend, evil british gentlemen with monocle and kung-fu vampires and (for now) good quality in animation? It's not even necessary to ask.

This looks like an otome game adaptation so that route is not available.

Besides, running with sakura petals falling is not conducive to a healthy relationship. These girls are prob meant to just be friends imo.

I'm betting it has something to do with her latent powers. They could have gone anywhere overseas but they picked London.

Kung-Fu vampire who does not hop (except a single hop in the opening), but wields a machine gun? I'm considerably less eager. I somewhat noticed that the animation is rather pretty, but the heroine seems a completely blank viewer surrogate, and other characters seem generic too. The 'plus' section also showed great-grandmother flying into London on a jet with a modern suitcase, about 100 years ago, with little acknowledgement that a Chinese woman establishing a successful cafe in London at that time would have been an extraordinary feat even without plane and suitcase, so I get the impression they didn't think that bit through.

The challenges facing a Chinese woman trying to run a fashionable cafe in 1920s London (Why don't you stick to running a Chinese restaurant or a laundry?) might be an interesting anime.

Well...she's with a hunky werewolf. Maybe we get to see the other side of the story thru them. She convinces him to join the good side. Everybody's happy again.

I don't think this is Stockholm. Chris is actually protecting her. She's prob safer with him than with Ton at the moment. Ton is getting shot at and attacked. Shinyao is on the run, living a peaceful existence.

If you looked at all that's happened, Ton's group couldn't protect her. Chris did. Chris got extra points for remembering to secure her hat.

This is an otome game. She's there for a reason and it's not Stockholm syndrome. Chris hasn't done anything that is included in the definition of Stockholm syndrome.
