No, I'm implying that Cruz could be an Adam clone, hence my original "random theory" comment. Arclight wouldn't care about a random Needless, if Cruz is revealed to be one. He would be interested if Cruz had a unique power to copy, or if Cruz had a stigmata, or if he was another Adam clone no one knew about (since Arclight wants a better body). He'd also be interested in the chip, since it hasn't been written out of the story yet.

Forget already about the datachip, that possibility is discarded the moment you recall Arca spent hours searching around the corpses to find the only piece of data Simeon came for. I've said it before and I'm going to say again: whatever Arclight uncovered by looking at Arca's memories is completely unrelated to the slaughter of the Resistance.

Solace@ And I agree here. What I mean is even if Yamada really is a Adam clone I dont think that AA want to use is body...yamada is too young. So if AA can control yamada somehow I can see him use Yamada againt blade and gain what he want. Hell even if he had stigmata or a powerfull needless power I can see this happen.You know AA ,I'm sure he would take this chance.

with this thinking, we can discard fragment and stigmata too, with the disk bioscan, same for adam clone (disk would have detecting this to comparing with blade scan)

And maybe, the datachip in cruz pendant was incomplete (an other safety from resistance)

^Which scan? We don't even know if Disk scanned Yamada. Not to mention, when Arclight used Blackout Invoke on Arca, she had no idea of what was happening and wondered why Arclight would do this and asked herself which secrets Arca's memories harbor.

About Arclight using Yamada's body for himself, nope. Arclight wants Blade's body because the height and constitution is exactly the same. This was pointed out at the very beggining of the plot.

You seem to have forgotten Arca had surgeon tools disposed next to her. She was going to practice Yamada cerebral surgery without damaging him. But then Arclight came and screwed everything, and drove his hand into his fronthead. I guess everyone should know at this point that a surgery performed with such brutal methods is UNDOUBTEDLY gonna do irreversible damage on Yamada's brains. We already discussed this, I believe.

Btw, I think you should check our previous posts. We didn't say anything about fragment or stigmata. And no, Yamada is no clone, he's a full fledged human.

i have never said cruz is clone, i refuted this.
we didn't say it's needless/stigmata, but other members think it.
According to AA brutal method, the mystery hidden in cruz brain is easy to find without help of specific equipment (the touch sense is enough) consequently the mystery is clearly material (probability 100%)

To finish, the dataship theory, can't be totally refuted, the resistance leader has never had trust about aruka, maybe they really used cruz to hide other part of dataship in his brain

I think that's unlikely. Who, other than Simeon, would have the ability and the materials to create another clone? And supposing they were successful, why would they abandon that clone in the Black Spot? It just doesn't make sense to me. And anyway, Cruz is definitely Arca's brother - the family resemblance was noted by Hatfield.

Also, if Cruz is another Adam, the last thing Arclight wants is to awaken his abilities. The safe thing to do in that scenario would be to just chop Cruz's head right off, leaving his defenceless body to be used for whatever dastardly purpose you desire...

Sorry to intruder but, while I agree Cruz is no clone (cmon, he's made of flesh and bones!), you seem to have forgotten already about the Adam C., created by Simeon.

I would be very surprised if Cruz was a clone - he looks nothing like the other clones from the Adam series.

With that said, it's now obvious that there is something in Cruz's head that Arclight is after. Either it's something like the datachip which he's been deliberately looking for, or it's something else that he didn't know about that happens to interest him and he's simply being opportunistic and ripping it out now.

I'm going to agree that whatever it is, the thing in Cruz's head was put there when Arca took him to Mengroze. He's a brain specialist, so there's no way he'd be needed for standard injuries. In addition, in chapter 81, where Cruz reveals he had been to Mengroze's hospital, he seems shocked when Gido claims Mengroze was a brain specialist. In other words he didn't know about it until then, which pretty much rules out Cruz going to him simply because he had a head injury of some kind.

I don't think, at 8 years old (or less), a boy think to prepare so elaborate plan.

My other theory is, the cruz accident in the past is not accident, he has been deliberately injured by order of resistance leaders, to hide secretly something in his brain during his treatment
