I swear I searched, but I didn't notice a topic.

Amami City, 1997. A coastal city designed to be a technological paradise and testing ground for a virtual reality world, Paradigm-X. This was made possible by funding from the Algon Software Corporation, the developers of Paradigm-X. The city provides citizens with free computer and internet access: via terminals situated all over the city, allowing users unlimited access to Paradigm X's network at will.

This is where all hell is about to break loose for a young group of hackers called The Spookies.

Devil Summoner: Soul Hackers is the second game in the Devil Summoner series. The Raidou games were 3 and 4, respectively.

It received a 3DS port some months ago, and after waiting far too long, we're finally getting it localized next month!

The original was ported to the PSP, and unlike Soul Hackers, it was a straight port without any tweaks or added voices, making it source code hell for localization, or so I heard.

Soul Hackers was originally a Saturn game, later ported to the PS1.

The 3DS port, among other things, adds full voice acting, a map on the bottom screen, and larger resolution artwork.

Any hype? Having beaten the Saturn version, I can vouch for it being truly a fantastic game.

Being able to understand it this time is a nice bonus.

So uh, it is out and pretty awesome, I hope some of you are playing it.

+
Voice acting is solid.
Everything about the game is LIGHTNING fast.
Music is great as ever.

-
There's occasional freezing bugs.
Audio is incredibly uneven, some stuff is loud, some you can barely hear.
The game eventually ends.

Oh wait I can't because region lock. Can't import the JP nor the US version.

My game is still in shipping process and I'm looking forward to it.. but I never heard this from my friend. Also, what's this about 'cheat code' in the game?

News to me.

And it's happened at random. I've never experienced it, others have. Save often just in case, you can get an app that lets you save anywhere after the first dungeon.
