Also, love that page. Sure, Mikoto is hating it, but from a logical perspective it means Misaki trusts her enough to turn her naked back to her, and allow her to put her hands that close to her neck without being able to see her. That should count for something.

Take this as Kamachi watching Fate Kaleid, with Mikoto on Tohsaka Rin's shoes working for Luvia/Misaki.

Which means, it' definitely isn't about trust.

I'm surprised that no one is talking about how it's confirmed that Misaki is a second year, just like Mikoto. This has some interesting implications considering the cover of NT11 unless you think it's possible for someone to go from being flat to have huge breasts in just a year.

I've been thinking about what the exact date this chapter is occuring on.

We know that Daihaseisai has ended so at the very least we have passed September 25.

Kamijou and Index are at the District 23 Airport on the morning of September 26. The flight time between Tokyo and Venice is 15 hours. They are supposed to be at Venice on September 27 to meet up with the guided tour. His entire day in Venice is devoted the Queen of the Adriatic Sea Incident. He is back in AC on September 28.

I'm guessing that the day after Mikoto gets the card is September 26 (1 day after Daihaseisai ends). And the morning after the Misaki dream (end of the chapter) is September 27. Given the amount of story we have given so far, I feel like this is going to be a short arc if it ends by either the 27th or 28th. That or Kamijou will get involved again at the end after he comes back from his disappointing trip.

I may be the only person in the Railgun thread who hopes for this.

He doesn't need to get involved. I just want a long arc. On the other hand:

If this arc is about lucid dreaming... then it could be very long... even if it is short... studies into lucid dreaming show that the passage of time can also be manipulated... so a short passage of time arc could actually take a long time... it's not really like inception... but it also is... Other than that though: OH&S I thought you were noting that the chapter is basically coming out on the same day that the story is happening in the series... but I guess you may/may not have noted that?

Yeah I was joking. He's actually been overworked by Kamachi in both the main story and the side story. The month of September was a harsh one for Kamijou. But seriously, in regards to the Railgun side story as a whole he doesn't really need to get involved this time round.

But even if he doesn't, I just know that this dream arc will lead to Mikoto having that good dream on the night before 0930.

Who knows, Mikoto's good dream will have Kamijou appear in it.

Oh. What a coincidence.

Though nothing more than that.

Another coincidence is that the Index Manga and the Railgun Manga are releasing serialized chapters about an event that occurs on the same in-universe date at the same time (ie. Next chapter in the Index Manga is the the Italy Arc).

I...I've read the latest chapters

. Haven't got a clue what's going on or why but the art is surprisingly good.

Anyway, I think Kamijou's already done enough for the Railgun manga in the previous 3 arcs alone to emulate Emiya in Prism Illya.

I want that too but I just don't see the arc lasting long for that. At least not long enough in a way Touma could appear.

Besides Touma has had plenty of badass moments to match up.
