The line is obviously a ploy to get readers uneasy, building suspense. Bleach does this a lot, when the result is either inconclusive or not what readers originally thought. However, the fact of the matter is it's working. What's going on!? The first panel is Katsuri, right? What happened to her beast eye? How come none of the images show Himari or Yuuto?

Correct, I agree with your statements there.

Still, I am very appalled by the way this manga is ending. The sales of the manga are enough to keep it running, the other factors that may have done this is either the author's motivation or the publishers,

I haven't given up hope for a sequel or a spinoff at least. At least give us a spinoff, Milan Matra!

Well, sometimes it is, and other times, Milan decides to shade it and not make it look very glossy. I actually prefer a lot of characters hairs looking like that in the manga.

^ I actually can not tell the difference between them when Himari looks like that, well other than the beast eye. Have you noticed it too?

If this is true, Himari better turn back to being a good cat... and not die...

I haven't been able to catch up with this since about Chapter 63 is something like that. I am trying to NOT read this topic, but it is hard to avoid it whenever it comes up... I usually don't care about spoilers, but I love this manga so much I kinda do want to be surprised by the plot as I read it. Still, it's been so long since I've been able to read any...

Anyway, from what I know we all hope that she survive and turn back to be a good cat.

Well this chapter has me confused. Also I guess this is either the third-to-last chapter, or the second-to-last chapter. Which sucks. Hardcore. Things seems to get confusing right now so I'm not sure how Milan will pull things off.

Spoiler for Chapter 73:

Yuuto stands there looking at Himari, then he smiles and says things to her with a carefree look and smile and she responds by trying to attack him with her hands. Claws. Whatever. He easily just steps to the side, and she misses him. She turns to him, and with her sclera black and she talks to him. He responds with an uneasy smile. She then gives him a really yandere look with a really yandere smile, and he looks at her, undazed. He glances at a clock, and sees Himari's silhouette, with her claws out and about to attack him. He creates a shield and yells at her. He then grabs her shoulder, and slams her into the wall. He grabs her other shoulder, and tries to scream some sense into her. She looks at him, dazed. He then hugs her, while still talking to her, and she starts to grow those rings in her eyes. She then backs away from him, and screams while she clasps her hands around her head. It's heard everywhere. I think. Ekou and Kurosakura notice it, and Kuesu, Rinko, and Hitsugi notice it too. Kuesu and Hitsugi talk while Hitsugi looks at her laptop thingy.

It then shows clear skies, and Yuuto wakes up, lying on the ground in his grandparent's home. He rises up, and then gets a really startled look, and looks behind him. Behind him, is a really tall Himari facing towards the wall. (Like, Slenderman-tall) He smiles to her, and tries to talk to her, but she just stands there, facing to the wall. Saying nothing. She then disappears. Like, vanishes. Right there. In an instant. Like, poof. As he walks around, a door next to him opens and an eye peers at him. He doesn't notice it. He does notice Kaya sweeping the front porch, and he mutters some things, confused. She then turns to him, and mutters one thing to him. He see's that she has a mouth, but when he looks up, no eyes. He then hears a loud screech or noise, and covers his ears. He turns around, and sees his Grandparents standing in the house. It closes up onto Grandpa Gen, and his faceless face, and Yuuto wipes his chin, standing there. He thinks to himself, and Grandma Sawa with her faceless face, points out to the forest. He starts to walk to the forest, and turns around to see them not there anymore. He starts to run, and then see's Himari as a cat, looking up at the sky sitting on some rocks near the lake. He smiles and talks to her, and she's then in her human form, smiling at him normally in her kimono. She smiles at him and they talk. He tries to pat her shoulder, but she turns and looks down. She starts to walk into the lake, closes her eyes, and then looks up. Yuuto stands there, with a surprised look, saying nothing. She then turns her head and looks at him, asking him if he remembers about the time Taizo was controlled by an Ayakshi. He thinks to himself that he does, and he reaches out to her, only stopping midway when she turns her head again to him and smiles, saying something that surprises him, making him speechless. She smiles at him again, the kind of smile that says "Oh, you're so hopeless. It's cute." Or something like that. It starts to get dark outside, and he looks down, thinking to himself. She then turns her whole body to him, and exclaims something to him, with a fierce and determined look that only a sane Himari would give. Yuuto looks at her, not sure what to do, as a sweat drop forms and rolls down his face.

I hope that the author don't aim at an ending where Himari dies.....because I don't think that ending would fit the story(even with what happen until now).
