Joseph and Caesar's little scuffle by the fountain was awesome ("You can't even beat a pigeon"). Their rivalry is hilarious. I loved how irritated Jojo was by... pretty much everything Caesar did or said.

The Pillar Men's awakening was great, though not quite as fabulous as in the manga. Their voices are all excellent.

I've always found that scene funny in the manga, but the anime censorship kind of killed it:

Jojo, the only manga where the nazis are the good guys. I actually liked how Mark was portrayed as an ordinary young man with a family, a lover, and a homeland. He was just a boy! *fabulous posing*

Lots of Axis manlove this episode. I liked that they even got the Kingdom of Italy flag right. Also Jojo and Caesar should make the perfect battle couple seeing as how they're both smug assholes with hearts of gold.

I just love how Speedwagon cringes at the moment Mark brought upon his death flag.

That's what being through the horror that was the fight with Dio, then years of experience, does to Speedwagon.

Just a question, Jojo looks like having some decent sales so assuming that greenlights a second season... would that need two cours to cover part 3? (Pretty much the only thing I know about part 3 is who the villain is, and that it's the most popular part of Jojo, or so I'm told)

Part 3 is longer than 1 and 2 put together, so yes, they'd need at least 2 cours to adapt it properly.

Stardust Crusaders ran from the end of Vol.12 up to Vol.28. My hope for an eventual adaptation of it is to unshaft Abdul and Iggy who got quite the shaft in the later parts of the OAV series.

Spoiler for Stardust Crusaders spoilers:

Japanese gets a lot of free time

Spoiler for Tequila and body check:

Well, I'm sure that part 3 will run the entire second season. Talking about it, with all respect to Daisuke Ono, I prefer Jotaro's OVA voice (Jurota Kosugi).

Ono's problem is that he does sound like Yuuya Bridges. And add the fact that people will ALWAYS think of Kosugi's Jotaro whenever they will look at Jotaro. Much like how many of those who voiced Kenshiro just couldn't quite compare to Akira Kamiya's Kenshiro.

Arnie uses Kami zuna Arashi(?).

Joseph playing dead have to be one of his funniest moments in the entire saga, other than that very EMBARASSING incident with Abdul in Part 3. Joseph elevates Dastardness and Cheating to heroic attributes with a flair that few heroes could pull up. It's no wonder it's easier to make a Goku clone than a Joseph clone, explaining why we are seeing more MCs like Goku than MCs like Joseph. Because he truly is one of his kind.

Other than that? The music is still godlike, the voice cast is a delight to hear, I always crack up when I hear the Narrator going all hammy like the rest of the cast. And the director clearly knows how to play up the strenghts of the manga, rather than letting such things as small budget hindering him.

Caesar's overconfidence cost him dearly.
Think his ego got the biggest blow LOL
Those pillar men are arrogant, but they have the power.
Jojo was lucky with Santana, but these three are so much more challenging.
If nothing else, Jojo has a good persuasion techniques.
Too bad for him, those three are no fools..

I really like the part where Wham outthinks the half-ass plans Joseph was trying to pull in desperation.

It shows how the Pillar Men aren't fools and just makes it even more awesome when Joseph fights them later since we know they aren't pushovers in any way.
