They do, but it doesn't happen for a very long time. Around arc 7 or 8 in the webnovel to be more precise if memory serves.

Hmmm, if I had to explain it; it's like death march without the demons nor the lolis.

- The MC is basically the best in the world in what he does (magic crafting), but that's not directly related to battle.
- He does craft golems and automatas and a few of them are basically close to be the strongest thing in the planet (he makes a small army to defend his home territory ). His "daughter" being the prime example of this (who he constantly upgrades each time he learns something new)
- The MC does shot down the flags he is not comfrotable with (he actually helps marry off one of "his girls" to someone else). I think he marries? I haven't read that far.
- There it are problems popping up here and there which the MC helps solve either directly or indirectly; this includes evil organizations in the background.

Jin basically has the world's strongest base and army (air force and navy included) in existence complete with a super computer AI (several failsafes included to ensure it doesn't rebel against him or anything like that) and automated production system on top of all the resources he could ever want. At one point he also creates an alternate persona for himself via remote controlled golem that acts as an anti-terrorist that's hidden in mystery and eliminates anything that would endanger world peace (his debut including a gigantic golem over 10 meters).

As for the romance department, of the heroines that have shown up, he thinks of all of them as his little sisters (one of them even married one of the other characters). This is partially because of something that gets found out around arc 17 or so. It turns out that when he was summoned, there was an issue with the magic energy that reconstructed his damaged body locking the state it is in, which is why he was unable to build muscle, use body strengthening type magic, and also sealed away his sexual desires. Once that problem gets fixed, he gradually starts getting together with one of the heroines, though progress with their relationship goes reeeeeally slowly because Jin being how he is and the girl has zero romance experience.

Thx for this, i was really interested in this, but now I wont even bother. Hate slow MCs when it comes to romance. And worst of all, marrying off harem members.

After a certain point, Jin starts something called "Jin Family" which is pretty much a gathering of the world's top craftsmen that he can 100% trust with secrecy who are all able to freely come and go from his island. At the last part that I read (around arc 20), this consists of his best friend Rainhart, Rainhart's wife, Elza (Rainhart's cousin), Mine (Elza's wetnurse), a female craftsman who I can't remember the name of atm, and her childhood friend who is a storyteller/historian.

Romance is pretty far detached from this story, but Elza is the closest thing to an actual heroine we get. She's the blondie you're curious about btw. At first Jin gets to know her because she was one of the contestants in the boat racing arc, then afterward travels around with her and Rainhart upon Rainhart's offer until later on, for various reasons, Elza becomes Jin's sworn little sister, disciple, and much much much later on, a couple.

Rather than being slow, it's more that the work itself is more focused on the merry everyday life of being a craftsman (which prevents me from reading too much within a single period of time because of so much technical jargon that happens from time to time) and has little romance in it in the first place. Also, it was never really a harem in the first place. Yes Bina did have feelings for Jin at first, but that kinda went out the door at a certain point. Hannah is...well her age being what it is and is thoroughly little sister position. From the last point I read (somewhere around arc 20), Jin remembers about Martha from time to time, but she herself never appears at all after her arc ends.

No, the female craftsman I'm forgetting the name of is someone else. Dunno what point the translation is, so I dunno if this means anything to you right now, but she made crystal golems.

As for Reiko's upgrades....she gets so many that it'd be endless if I went and listed everything so I'll just put out what I can remember.

Jin creates a new metal alloy stronger and more powerful than anything previously existing and further improves on it by increasing its density via gravity (or barrier, I forget which) magic and uses it for Reiko's skeleton/frame. Her magic crystal cores were all replaced by twin crystal cores which boast a 95+% efficiency rate (the initial ones he was using were 80% or below), and the skin uses the wing membrane of a dragon with anti-magic properties. She also has a sort of "limit breaking" function where she can increase her power output to several times more than her normal maximum limit at the cost of extremely severe strain on her body, thus causing a lot of damage to her skeleton/frame and requiring major maintenance afterward.

This is all only the tip of the iceberg and I haven't even gone into her various personal equipment either.

Its pretty long and Slow development, no wonder the translator is giving a signs of dropping it. I suggest to you guys to learn some JLPT5 kanji then MTL it for a better understanding. and slowly learn the language that way.
