If I have to take a guess as to why everyone is using fortress/strike cannon/warhammer...
I would look at the heavy inspections that those weapons have to go through.
Teana`s Oxtongue was on hold for two months and I`m guessing any form of customization puts you back for another inspection...

If it was only for mass production, what was the point of Fried`s AEC armor ?
More likely it got a free pass because it doesn`t have offensive capabilities.
Of course, I could be completely wrong too.

So there I was, reading about how something a bit different came up in Freezing regarding supah powahs, and how Doctor Aoi Gengo was and is against blurring the boundaries between Nova and humans, who would love to get rid of all of the stigmata and whatnot at the first possible chance to avoid abuse of the new types of weapons in god knows how many new ways

and then I remembered that Justice League Unlimited did it so much better with the Sat Beam and a type of disarmament. So I went and watched season 3 and 4 instead of reading this thread. Then I saw the update.

A's is different:

Nanoha fires bigger and wider energy orbs and beams
Fate get a cool set of swords and scythe modes with new arrowlike enegy missiles xD
Signum uses a snake sword in flames
Vita uses a freaking hammer xD
Zafira is a grappler
Shamal is a priest
Reinforce is Captain Planet xD!

For all it's flaws StrikerS also introduced good variety.

In FORCE we see strike cannons everywhere (so much publicity for a weapon that always gets destroyed xDU), we have at least 3 characters using nearly the exact same equipement and the rest using stuff any raptor can put their hands on xDU

At least there's some originality between the Hucks (not much but still better than the heroes). And also helpos the fact each one posses individual powers which are actually useful in battle xDU I feel sad to admit the Hucks are the best developed characters around in this season but that's the sad truth xDU

About the new chapter, seems Carter have his days numbered unless Tohma inds a way to save him. Hayate uses a Fortress bonus pack just for show and Signum spend a couple of pages talking intrascendent stuff xDU Still waiting the translation of Ch. 25 part 1 to make a summary xDU

I recently joined animesuki. I recently read the current translated chapters of Mahou Senki Lyrical Nanoha Force and loved it. I wanted to know other fans' views on it and found this thread. Good to see such diverse views and active discussion. Nice to meet everyone, and I hope we can get along.

First of all, welcome Kurohane, this forum indeed has a good atmosphere of discussion and have lots of members with diverse viewpoints so you won't get bored if you want to bring something interesting into discussion xD

Second, there's indeed some fanbase for FORCE here and some other who likes to criticize this manga because of certain details (i admit being part of the latter group). But don't let that to stop you to express what you like about this installement of the Nanoha franchise. As much as i like to point the flaws of FORCE i also admit there's some saving graces like the inclusion of several cool male characters to change things a little. Badasses like Veyron and Deville, charismatic characters like Marty or relatable ones like Tohma, even the CEO of Vandin Corp. Hardis Vandin have an imposing aura despite having close to no-lines whatsoever xD

Well, that and Curren Huckebein who is Nanoha's currently most powerfull fighter.

Aki forgot to mention that Signum was totally worfed in chapter 7 and is currently cannon fodder of the lowest rung for the Bureau. But that's all that needs to be said on the matter.

The mini bombs were originally in all of the members' brain, but Carter did a little trick to move them to their necks. Apparently the bombs will explode if someone even moves it beyond a certain range, and their necks are the maximum range he can manage without getting blown to oblivion.

Ok i must admit i'm honestly impressed. That boasting kiddo resulted to be a LOT smarter than i did credited him initially. No wonder why those three girls seem to be truly loyal to him despite his behavior xD

Still a far cry from Curren's unmatched badassitude but Carter earned a few points in my book of cool leaders.
