I hope that release date stays like that and we don't get another delay, this LN needs to end soon and hopefully in a good way since Watari it's been just going in a loop in terms of what happens instead of progressing, just adding more drama and repeating the same process.

By the way, wasn't volume 14 coming out with volume 13?

And yeah, for everyone’s sake, including his own, best end this series soon. It’s been dragging on for too long. I only hope he end this in a high note, and not one of those vague, “use your imagination as to what happens next/what happens to each character” kind of ending.

Nice to hear that there is a confirmed date! I do recall hearing something about Volume 14 being paired with 13 as well, hopefully this story has a satisfying conclusion. I'm sure Mr. Wataru will pull it off somehow! ...Probably.

So it looks like volume 13 will be released October 18th as said above and 14 will follow on November 20th! Wow, that's pretty close, also Wataru supposedly says that this will probably be the last.

Since the anime cut 90% of Hikio's thoughts and thus like 99% of Yumiko content along with it, I don't care about it all that much. Be it movie or series.

Actually Iroha is bae, but I know that she stands no chance against those two, so I went with the second best choice and that's Yui.

Uhh, it makes no sense to pick Yui though. There hasn't really been that many romantic scenes at all with Yui and Hachiman never seems to be that attracted to Yui compared to Yukino. It's not like Hachiman has chemistry with Yui either. Their alone time is usually very awkward.

By the same token, one can argue that quite a few of the moments he shares with Yukino feel forced or are used to create melodrama. Since they possess similar personalities, a romance between them would feel rather dull imo. I'd prefer seeing him with a girl with a more outgoing personality as they'd compliment each other better and interactions between them would be interesting at the very least.

It goes without saying, I enjoy his interactions with Iroha the most, but as I noted previously, she stands no chance against Yukino and Yui, so I went with the next best thing and that's Yui.

Besides, in this particular case, it all really came down to my own preferences and what I wanted to see from the characters involved. There wasn't really any logic applied to it. I just like Yui because I like her, simple as that.

If we're really eaching the end, then Hachiman picking no one, would be the most plausible scenario. Not everyone would like it, but with the theme of this story, it makes the most sense. At least to me.
