In your(everyone's) opinion. Which one is faster/more maneuverable? Rafael revive with the shield mod or Shenlong with its quad impact cannon/thermal cannon?

Shenlong seems to be slowest in terms of raw speed (bar Schwarzer Regen and Uchigane who's not designed to fly XD), has excellent acceleration and decent agility (Jet engine and compact size), it's maneuverability seems... odd.

EDIT: Speed 2.5, Acceleration 4.5, Agility 4, Maneuverability 3

Rafael has 4/5 in all category mentioned above, though it's acceleration might be inferior somewhat.

Revive is faster. She performs acrobatics and 360 degree turns during her practice.

Ah, I see your point. Then again, the early parts can't be helped since there are loose ends such as her enrollment and the seventh replica drone which requires his appearance.

The nerve of being a normal student who can't do jack at this stage, but then again. It will come to a point (most likely within 1-2 chapters) where she'll be handling things without him. (Hint: Golem)

As it is now, he learns about the AI within his unit who, out of embarrassment, shuts herself out. Which means he'll be without his battle-armor for a period of time.

Still, you'd think there'd be more scenes with her POV. We're over 40k words in and she still feels like a side character due to her lack of appearances or POV.

@ Demi - Doesn't matter, they all got their ass kicked. Silver Gospel is immune to all except Setsura and possibly Mysterious Lady.

No, Shenlong doesn't gain any speed boost, Raphael too, so by default Raphael is more maneuverable.

And ByakuShiki Setsura can give REAL Shirokishi, Akatsubaki, and Silver Gospel 2nd shift a run for it's money in raw speed AND acceleration department...

assuming I remember correctly that boosters were removed from the rafael to add more shields. Will its speed suffer?

Well I can't really throw part of the plotline off-screen and replace it with her doing nothing... And she can't(at least for now) do anything without him or Cecilia around.

It's a balance of some sort. If she's alone, she can only self-practice. If she's with Inami, it'll be training duels and shiptease. If she's with Cecilia, it'll be theory lessons, some training sessions and rival antics.

It's Tsurugi's arc, but it's part of a long-spanning plot arc, which is Inami's(and as of Athena Saber, theirs).

Speed, acceleration and maneuverability.

The four booster is arranged into movable tail 'binder' after all. That's why the Packets is consisted of hand-carried advanced shield and new armaments such as Gatling Cannon :|

EDIT: Will check it again in the novel.
