But really this transition episode is really a teaching episode. It's showing the viewers and shaping them for the future, much like how Umineko does it. Time honored traditions of a character teaching baka1 aka Dora-chan, is really about teaching the audience. |

At least she points out where to find a Flugel. I think it has more to do with how much of a worrywart she always been to almost everything Sora and Shiro are doing. If only she just calmly asks them for proper sxplanation. But of course, her overaction is what makes her funny for some viewers.

In Steph's defense, she was learning. She tried cheating in Blackjack, but Sora was still able to predict the cards.
She learned from that and tried picking games she thought would be impossible to predict, like the birds. She just wasn't careful enough with the rules. |

Really it seems like Steph would be god-tier back in Sora and Shiro's worlds. Seems to have a lot of good skills at everything, but games. Crazy physical strength and was doing a good job slowly creating acceptance to Sora and Shiro's new policies to avoid any major outbursts. Unfortunately for Steph she's bad at the main thing in this world and certainly the one thing she needs to be good at to get anywhere with Sora and Shiro .
Certainly not bad by Steph to try and focus on pure chance. But at the same time she didn't think things through. There's a good deal of tactics you can put even behind random games and can bend the rules if they aren't nailed down before hand. At least by the end after all that insanity they did fill her in and show appreciation for all the work she has been putting in there. Really it is a solid division of labor. Those two do need to be on top of every game they can find and learn as much as possible in order to pull Imanity back from the brink. While Steph is certainly better at peacefully keeping things in order without having to beat down everyone through games.
