This show...is sooooooo refreshing in terms of humor.

From what I'm reading in this thread so far, it's hit or miss for a lot of people. Whether you find the sexual jokes funny or not...but in all honesty the sexual jokes are 10x better than the ecchi crap we've been seeing the past few years. Anytime. ANYDAY!

Definitely a hit for me, also those short snippets of the adult video interview were too damn hilarious.

This season keeps getting better and better.

I feel the bluntness on the show is one of its strong points. There are no misunderstanding we know and the other characters know exactly whats being said and in what context. I love subtle but sometimes the reverse works very well. Hell the first episode made me chuckle all the way through.

The anime's humor presented is certainly interesting... Actually having read the manga itself, I'm pleasantly surprised that it translated extremely well on screen. Can't wait for more.

As long as torrenting requires some level of understanding with your network to set up properly ( AKA an IQ higher than a Tomato plant ) I don't think we have to worry about soccer moms finding too much out about ecchi.

"What kind of show is this?" some of the posters ask? It is based on a "4-koma' comedy comic (4-panel comics). So the "manzai" feeling is right on target. Every four panels is "gag setup and execution". More than a few 4-koma strips (K-On!, G.A. Art Class, etc) directly use this sort of format.

The anime adaptation keeps that feel ... sometimes that can be awkward but here it seems to work beautifully. The humor is mild/subtle rather than blunt/raucous (the series Mitsudomoe seems to be a good example of the latter).

As yet another example of the worthlessness of labels, this is a 'shounen' published 4-koma where I would have guessed a 'seinen' (like the 4-koma strip Working!! is).

So the secondary cast starts to make their appearance, beginning with Mutsumi, played by Chiaki Omigawa. More wordplay and sexual jokes are present, and Naruko also appears. Yuu Kobayashi knows how to get craziness down, and this is no exception. Another fun week, overall. The pixellation keeps on going.

How did they cast Mutsumi with that person, the one that did Jun and P-Ko and etc...
It... isn't that unfitting, but definitely not what I expected and there is that... flatness. It is cute though, and it makes Mutsumi kind of sound stupid (which fits, I guess).
The teacher fit perfectly...
Extremely random, but the very beginning where Mutsumi makes a sound when her friend goes "Mutsumi" and she notices Takatoshi, that sound she made sounded like choking.

The censoring of the word "Ma-O-ko" was... needed? It was already censored as it was, but the word was impossible to see now.

But the tempo in the episode was a lot better than the first episode, without the overly dramatic animation the first part of episode 1 used.
Also, Takatoshi's "Ufah, are you my mama?" was just said in such a hilarious manner. Though the tsukkomi to the cannibalism joke even more so.

But anyways, next episode uses only 4 pages from the manga...?! In other words, lots of original stuff?
I still shiver when I remember Princess Lover's second half...

Opening song is performed by triple booking, which is a reference to the fictional band in Idol no Akahon. Hopefully we'll see Idol no Akahon getting animated.

Haven't seen the episode yet to understand exactly how they censored it, but from what I've seen in other works, "manko" ("pussy") is the F-bomb equivalent in Japanese. It is pretty much always censored, even in things where you wouldn't expect most any dialogue to be censored. Hell, they even censored the hell out of it in Ebichu, and anyone who's seen Ebichu will note the significance of that.
