That epiosde was really laugh me hard, mostly at their own language jokes...

I'll give credit to Minami's VA for her voice acting in other languages, damn she got german tounge skill..

Aki was really idiot in this phrases...

Minami: wa-ta-shi....
Aki: what-a- sea?
Minami: WHAT A SH*T YOU ARE MAN!

I think that I might feel the same way if I had any real issue with that sort of violent humor, but it's never bothered me too much. I mean, I can get uncomfortable with meanspirited humor that involves some kind of emotional abuse. I remember an early episode of Urusei Yatsura where there's a new teacher that comes to the series' local high school that gets off on the wrong foot with the students. The students get revenge on him by having Lum pretend as though she might be interested in him; they go on a date together, the teacher's really happy and all seems right with the world... then at the end of the episode, the student body crowds around the teacher and calls him a pedophile (He's a middle-aged dude), says that they know his dirty little secret about dating Lum, etc. The guy runs off in tears from the humiliation and the day is saved because he never comes back to Tomobiki. This is all supposed to be good fun, but I thought it was too mean to be funny and left me kind of depressed.

Physical abuse, though, I'm indifferent to for some reason. I think it's boring and unfunny, but slapstick humor like that doesn't strike a nerve at all. Minami and Himeji could train a raging bull to stomp on Yuuji's testicles while Shouko gets a T-Rex to tear out Yuuji's innards and I'd just think "Oh well, I won't hold that against them, it's slapstick humor." Different things bother different people, I s'pose.

The only thing I don't get it is, why is Yuuji can perfectly communicate with Minami but not Akihisa? Yuuji and Akihisa were using the same language after all.

And I should assume that Minami is communicating with her family in German language as well, right?

the lulz I am waiting for is this, the day Aki gets a new admirer who rivals his sister Akira in terms of ultimate chick specs (smokin body, real beauty, smart), said sister being a part of the faculty of Fumizuki, sparking jealousy amongst teh ladies (btw Takahashi's dont look liek they hueg) and all males stuck to her, and finally the graduation finale.

BLASPHEMY! the right one is NOT shouko, it's Kouta crossdressing as Shouko and add better eye expressions. Shouko is NOT flat, she's at least a C cup.

Dunno about manga, but based on novel illustration its from Volume 4, and it ain't scanlated yet.
Btw there are 9 volumes out atm, so we are like half of the way in the story (which is probably still not finished).
Unless annime took few things from previous/later novels which is quite possible.
