I look forward to the ending. I really liked Sadamoto's take on End of Eva.

Anno?

What does Hideaki Anno have to do with the manga adaptation? He isn't the one writing the script, that'd be the artist himself, Yoshiyuki Sadamoto.

I'm more impressed of the fact that despite being 18 years old the series still didn't break 100 chapters.

Look at it this way; Shinji and Asuka gets to be normal people, without crippling mental health issues. I think that's actually worth losing memories over.

Well after all that... A happy ending of sorts. While the rest of the kids don't know each other anymore (aside from Shinji and his friends it appears), there's always a chance that they'd meet each other again.

That said, will wait for the inevitable RAAAAAGE from the usual corners of the net. You know where I'm talking about.

Yes! This is without a doubt my favorite version of Evangelion. What a good ending!

Still, I wonder what happened to Rei III.

And Asuka wins once again. Being Rei fan must be suffering.

I can't believe this is finally over after 20 years. I was less than 1 when this started. Sheesh.

What? Asuka didn't win as much as she SURVIVES IN ONE PIECE, which is a good enough reason to be happy.

The future is open for Shinji this time around though, so who knows? The possibilities are endless.

Wow, a relatively happy ending? There really is a breach in the space/time continuum somewhere.

Been following this manga for so dang long, it really took this long to come out with just around 15 volumes of material, geez.............

I didn't like sadamoto's end, for me it was poor and cliche.

I still prefer EOE end a lot more. The true end for me.

Was Asuka going to take the exam like shinji and failsuke?

Because If that's the case then maybe they can be friends in this new life too.

Ugh, this is something I'd expect to hear at EVAgeeks, not here. Look, a depressing end doesn't make an ending good, and with a series like EVA, there HAS to be a payoff to all the suffering the characters went through.

And a hopeful ending fits the bill.
