Tusk I think is dead, Momoka though.... She was shot in a non-fatal area (the shoulder) and people have survived car crashes, plus she did levitate via mana a couple episodes back so hope isn't lost with her. "But Duel you aren't making this post just to say that are you?" Nope, this came to mind shortly after I finished seeing The Lazarus Effect (which is an absolutely unsettling and creepy movie you should all watch when you get the chance):
>powerful villain that constantly reforms himself after "dying" >said villain having his own machine that moves to his will instead of piloting >big guy commanded an army made to preserve nature >main goal of Embryo and the dragons was originally to restore nature >three scout antagonists (Chris, Ersha, and Salia) Fukada is remaking Dendoh, Aura is Emperor Galfa and Embryo is Zero with Hysteria being Vector (having the main blonde's brother having his mind altered adds to this theory!)....... Which means Embryo may not end up being the final boss, it may end up being Aura. If it does happen then there is going to be one huge finale. |

I can see whole world reset ending where the ideal world that Tusk talked about in previous episodes with Cafe Ange become a reality.
RIP Momoka though. Best maid ever. Who knows, Embryo can revive people so maybe Tusk and Momoka will pop up again.

I'm not sure if Embryo can revive someone that just blew themselves to pieces with a bomb strapped to their chest, or a girl that just got crushed+blown up by a car. Chris and the roast kiddies were one thing. Once they're in multiple pieces? Different story.

There is already too many overlapping theory in this anime. There is parallel universe and there are that time and space resonance.
Reset world hence could mean they travel to another identical universe , and if Ange is the one to do it, it simply just means she has travelled to a different world and left everyone else to doom. Much like Embryo, he left the DRAGON world in shatter when he moved to this new world. If instead of moving to a different world, she replaced this entire world by another. Then how is it different to Embryo through. You clearly could see DRAGON people were crushed to death when it happened last time Ps: more people will die next episode it seems, Ersha seems heading the list

Or the fluffy happy ending where everyone is revived and live happy forever. Actually just Ange moved to her ideal universe. In reality we have Hilda and the rest of the Arzenal crews struggled being left behind when their world is turned upside down as Ange left it (assume Embryo already being taken care of, then most likely the Norma will be blamed for Mana destruction too, just like currently being accused of). Well they could permanently move to DRAGON world through. Should fit right in there

Its is possible for Tusk to be alive. He could have been saved by the very person whom he tried to blow up Embryo himself. We dont know the extent of him powers but it is possible that at the last min he saved Tusk, because in doing he would have a trump card. If Ange knew Tusk was alive nothing would stop her from going to rescue him and that would be Embryos chance to get her back.
It is also possible for Momoka to be alive as well, or more to the point recreated. If all the mana users are Homucli then Embryo could recreate her with her memories. He could do it once again to lure Ange back to him. Theres also the possibility that she was saved by someone on the way down. In the mean time Ange is going to go through grief but then im pretty sure its just going to be rage. I expect to see Black Villikiss eventually once they retrieve it from the lake. I dont think anyone even Hilda will be able to heal Ange at this point. Two very important people were taken from her within min of each other, it would be too much for anyone to bare. oh and i forgot yea FUCK YOU CHRIS. you knew whats it was like to be treated like trash being Noma yet you killed that girl while laughing. I hope your actual death is painful and you are die alone and actually without friends. Because there is no way they are taking you back now.

I swear next episode Ange or another character better question or explain how Embryo continually resurrects. My guess is releasing Aura is the secret to his undoing, which should have been Ange's goal from the beginning if she was as smart as Salako.
I doubt Tusk is dead because that death was sorry. Suiciding an enemy that Tusk, and us watchers, know is immortal? Lame. He didn't have to kill himself to buy time for Ange. What would Embryo have done with Ange already up in the air and flying away? Tusk is aware Embryo can kill himself to teleport, he should have rushed Embryo and restrained him to prevent suicide-warping. That death was faked for cheap theatrics to end the episode. If anything, that Tusk may be dead, but parallel-universe Tusk or magically-resurrected Tusk will surely happen. What a dumb death otherwise for a rather pivotal character (to Ange's development). |

Let me get this out of the way, preview was entertaining as always. "Why do I have to be the maid?!"
Flags and all, I expected one of them to die this episode. I don't know what it was, but the thought of both Momoka and Tusk dying in the same episode felt like it would have been a little too much. I can say that the episode handled it well. See Valvrave, this is how you do it. When you put enough work in your characters and get someone invested in them, their death will have more meaning. For Chris, I don't see things going well for her. She crossed the line. Up until this episode you could argue deep down she didn't want to fight her friends. I do give a bit of her current attitude as a result of Embryo being in her ear. I wouldn't be surprised if see an outcome between Rosalie and her that's similar to what we saw with A-Drei vs Q-Vier. I do like the fact that she called out Hilda and Rosalie for their flaws. One can't understand others and the other can't think for herself. They've gotten better Chris. Also, I really liked Ogura's performance this episode. Ersha: This probably pushes her over the edge. I think only the Ragna-mail riders have green energy blasts. I expect the whole "It's your fault that my children died" rage while fighting. I asked myself "Why weren't those kids put into a safe shelter?" But Sala's forces attacking did come as a surprise. After this episode, I think Salia's lost control of those two.

Better instead having him alive and in his own hands to threaten her in case of plan A wouldn't work (as it won't ). She has been tortured directly, let's torture her indirectly torturing physically her lover. He is a villain after all, so he has to have at least some dumb thought here and there. Oh, and it won't be that dumb, only a bit may be

Embryo wants to bend/break Ange's will but having her accepting him, in his distorted vision that torturing her is a valid method. The next lower step, when it won't work, is to blackmail her. Always in his view. So what would work better that her supposed dead lover. I'd dare say we are all expecting Ange to resist to Embryo after the loss of the two most important persons she had. So we have to expect Embryo having some ace up his sleeve. Add to this as Embryo is the kind of man that prefer to use people instead of kill them.
