Some people on other sites were saying that Esdeath x Wave was happening. I am not really sure what is happening between them in that scene.

4chan I think. It was random comments like Esdeath X Wave or something similar. Could be just simple garbage.

Exactly. I was there in that thread (heck, I was the one who opened it in the first place :3), so I can pretty much confirm that.

I still think the final battle isn't going to be Esdeath, neither the UT, but Incursio itself once its revival completes.

Hopefully this version of the church fight has some differences.

As for Wave's second teigu there are a few possibilities. Having it be Yatsufusa would be a good way for the author to mess him up.
