Yayoi is best waifu-daughter. Main-heroine right there. She has all the qualities of a perfect-waifu you can ask for. I really hope the father lives a super long life to out-live his elf daughter. It would be sad if she out-lives her father again

She's a sub-heroine at best since she's apparently really into the prince, and him her.
So Yayoi is now his daughter who's far older than him, his adopted daughter, her adopted son, and will soon be his sister-in-law once he finally accepts the princess.

But whether or not he outlives anyone is up to him since he can just reverse his own age if he needs to.

But yeah, I don't have any high expectations for this series. Or even moderate expectations.
It's just junk food that I might enjoy every now and then and haven't gotten entirely bored of it yet.

^ I did get bored a while ago though. I never found in myself the energy to read the celebration chapter after the let down battle and the prince+Yayoi developement. While cheering for her to enter MC's harem, I was expecting her to stay on the sidelines with some sharp comments, but she seems to be slowly getting shipped to the prince.
I might not really mind so much, f they just did all the icha-icha outside of screentime, not more than the MC and his girls.

Which is seriously a pity. Yayoi there was the best girl. If the author was going to pair her up with someone, he should have done that from the beginning, or give her less screentime for us not to get attached to her. Kind of reminds me of the series where the mum had position like main heroine (most detaild and interesting background, MC doing all the actions because of her and one seriously romantic scene), yet she and MC never got into that kind of relationship. Why do Japanese guys have to avoid incest so much in novels when they clearly don't mind almost anything else...

^ What about the Yamato Nadeshiko one? Did it go into incest or not in the end? You can't tell me he threw away his ex-girlfriend because of such a tiny thing.

That series was going to eventually reveal the obvious which is that they were not blood related, so your concern seem unfounded in that side.

^ Yeah, but there was the twist with: The sistre is not blood related, but his (ex+fake) girlfriend is his sitre. Considering she fell in love with him, there still was a hope for incest.
