Those who do watch it, do watch the next episode previews. Felli just gets better and better.

First word before comments - Great episode!

Gorneo Lukens (if i got his name right) and Chante (again if i got her name right) from platoon 5 was the opponent of platoon 17 for the mocking battle,but it was more to a personal fight between Layfon Alseif and Gorneo Lukens,whom happens to be the younger brother of the Tenken's Savaris Lukens (the fist user in ep 1).Gorneo seems to have quite abit of skills in using fist attack,notably in manipulating the ground,but none of his attack could scratch Layfon's uniform.Chante on the other hand was nothing more but a gag of the day,especially with Felli made fool of her twice in this episode

The student council president asked both platoon to go to an old Regios,hoping to find any leftover energy source in that city that they could use for their own.However upon reaching that city,Nina realized that the Regios was the once their opponent that they fought during intercity fight 2 years ago,in which Nina participated,but ended with Zuellni lost in that match.The episode end with Gorneo revealed in front of Nina of whom Layfon really was.

As for Leerin..well she got quite abit of screen time today...but seems like the queen had order Savaris and Lintensce to take care of her.Of course the usual scene when the queen appeared behind Leerin.Nothing much to comment of...except,i'm quite amused with Lintensce and Savaris being those typical superhero that never age even after passing years.I guess they might be using their kei to manipulate their look just like the queen...since each of the Tenken members might actually have more than one ability (in this case,Lintensce,being able to warp Leerin from the library to somewhere else).

Chante whom had a grudge with platoon 17 saw Felli and Layfon from the truck which she sat on top of it.Felli took the chance to distract her attention to the other place,and Chante did ate Felli's bait.Chante looked on the place where Felli pointed at without realizing the pipe behind her head's back.Her head hit the pipe,and Felli quickly wear her helmet,mocking the angry Chante for being a fool.

Spoiler for OMG Felli i'm in love with you more and more:

Chante saw Felli and Sharnid on their bike behind them,and gave a cold stare on Felli.Felli used that chance to mock Chante again,by purposely letting the tyre on her bike seat hitting a stone,which caused the stone to flew and hit Chante's helmet directly.Fell then gave Chante a mocking stare with a reply "hmpph...".

And damn that scene where Layfon hugged Felli during the inspection of the city ruins...i want to hug Felli too >"<

Just landed my hands on the raw and...well, here're a few thoughts-comments on it. No transl. since I'm impaired by the language barrier.

Spoiler:

- Leerin is now tailed by two Heavens Blades, Lukence and the other one whose hairdo is just a lightning strike short of becoming an afro. Anyway, it seems Layfon has answered her letter. Looks like Lukence can warp people from one place to the other, too.
- Gorneo indeed takes after his Heavens Blade brother, in that he uses his fists to transmit kei to the ground, kneading it into pillars/spikes that erupt from the ground and chase after their target. Not enough to have Layfon break a sweat - although this time he was once again sandbagging somewhat...keeping Gorneo and his loli sidekick Shante busy while Nina and Sharnid went through the back door and claimed the flag, making it their platoon's victory. No inferiority complex from Nina this time, although Layfon's obviously dejected once he learns that Gorneo is from the Lukence family.
- Small note: Layfon is using a standard-type Dite again, as Harley is busy building an umpteenth replacement unit (the Adamandite probably reached the end of its lifespan and had to be recast).
- Shante is a riot - hot-headed, yeah, in the I'm-not-getting-my-way-with-everything-RAAAAGE-I'll-shish-kabob-you-nyaaa sense. What's even better is that she seems to pick fights with Felli, whose wits are definitely better than brawns (especially when she distracts Shante away from an incoming overhead beam).
- Celebration party gets going at the maid cafe. Guess who's trying to steal all the spotlight by playing announcer? Clue: she always carries a camera with her. Sharnid getting hit on by the gay bartender is a lulz. Layfon remains withdrawn, and a certain OMG-I'm-so-shy-my-blood-pressure-is-going-all-Krakatoa lass once again loses an opportunity to share a bento with her crush.
- Engrish ftw. Nothing new, just shooting the remainder of the hellhounds into nothingness, leaving only the pursuing cars in their wake. Stay tuned for the next episode (as always).
- Another let's-all-fight-together-for-Zuellni-and-win-the-intercity-tournament speech (not in the 'pep talk' sense) from Nina. Unholy sense of foreboding, whither art thou?
- Nina and Layfon are summoned at Mr.I-wish-I-could-be-like-Gendo-Ikari-but-I-don't-have-the-hair-color's office, where Gorneo and Shante are already waiting for orders. Reason: investigate an obviously ruined Regios.
- Zoom back to Leerin in Grendan, where she reminisces her talk with Lukence and Mr.Almost-Afro. "Synola" reappears for a well-timed grope...and is so delighted by her newfound pastime she forgets she's standing on a flight of stairs and doesn't mind her step. Ouch. Looks like kei can't hide the bruises without giving the truth away, eh?
- Return of the Iron Kick(tm). Honestly, does she slip horseshoes inside her socks or what? With the metallic 'DING' that always accompanies her patented Shin-Killer Strike(c), I'm starting to think she doesn't hesitate to go that far...[/kidding]
- WTF? Shante gets a Hello Kitty-like helmet?
- ROFL at Felli vs Shante antics. Hotheaded monkey vs imperturbable cat, indeed.
- The investigated - and ominously deserted - Regios is thoroughly infested with larvae, although it seems they all moved off elsewhere as nothing attacks the search party as it makes its approach (the larvae are actually exoskeletons left behind during the moulting process). I believe a few people will even like the scene where Layfon uses his Dite to pull Felli and himself to the upper level. OMG HUGZ! they shall crow in triumph. (don't get me wrong - I'm quite fond of Felli, too)
- Layfon can use his wire-Dite as a probe? Huh. How practical and versatile...*blinks*
- SHOKKU! The city seems to be one that Zuellni challenged some time ago...and lost against, too (see previous eps) - Weria. Looks like they won a mine for nothing. Nina, understandably, angsts over the tragedy.
- One of the exuviae comes crashing down and Nina doesn't even notice it, until Layfon pulls her away. As the dust settles down, Gorneo and Shante appear on the carcass, breaking into a speech about fighting. I do believe Gorneo mentions the Heavens Blades for the first time in front of Nina (someone verify this, please).

- ED character is Layfon.

NEXT EP:
- Weird monster attacks Leerin in Grendan. Lukence to the rescue.
- Some tension as the topic of the Heavens Blades is broached. Layfon doesn't look very much enthused.

Yeap he did say Tenken in front of Nina and Layfon.Nina asked what "victory" (shouri) means to Layfon,and Layfon's answer to it was totally different from Nina's meaning of "victory".It was then Gorneo asked if Layfon's opinion about what "victory" is was caused by him being a Tenken.

Hmmm...actually, the hugging part...occurred when the group was about to climb to the Regios' upper tier. If you want a better insight on the circumstances (read at your own peril and disappointment, as margafred cautioned), just check for my previous post and search for 'hug'.

I read that already and I already said, I understand why it'd be like that

anyway, I LOL at a website where the raws are posted for viewing and some people are whining "where's teh subs!!!11?/" I just can't resist thinking "geez don't they know subs don't magically appear in just an hour or two after the episode has been aired..."

Anyone notice the suits for Felli and Nina were exposed a little at the thighs. I wonder how that holds up to the outside environment.

haha yea I noticed that too, but then girls will be girls. Be it freezing cold temps, blizzards, acidic erodding enviroment, fighting big ass monsters, they will always always want to look the part no matter what

Ok, Fon-fon can beat anyone in that stupid academy. He's hardly putting in effort or even coming close to going all out to defeat anyone in the city. They're all weak, whole damn city.... amazed they're still around. Fon-fon needs to go all out and make a giant blade like in ep 1 and slice the whole damn city in half or something. Make all those stupid onlookers and trash talker tremble in fear!

Queen is perverted.

Nina, I don't know.

Short white haired guy and cat-monkey girl are annoying. They're like a combination of anal and emo.

Overall, episode left me dumbfounded. Nothing what I expected, it was actually kind of lame and boring -- TO ME IT WAS, not universally overall. We need some serious action and I hope some come soon! I guess at least they drew Fon-fon and his expression pretty good at the beginning when he was doing that tornado thing....

Nina sure is obsessed about winning. And Fon-Fon sure isn't. At the very end of the ep, Nina asks Layfon what winning means to him, and he responds, "Surviving. Myself, and what I'm protecting." Of course, I couldn't make out exactly what Gorneo said, (it was something about "honor of a martial artist.. blah blah blah.. tenken.. blah blah blah...") what was more interesting than that was Nina's reaction to "Tenken."

Fon-Fon's take on "winning" and "losing" is that of someone who's seen a lot of carnage. Not some happy-go-lucky student who's mad that they lost the Big Game.

Oops. Looks like the cat's finally out of the bag, huh? I guess now Layfon will have to start explaining his past to his friends, because you know Gorneo won't shut up about it now. Dude really does hold a serious grudge.

Poor Fon-Fon. The SCP was right-- you can't just run away from your past. And Felli saw right through the SCP's pairing of the 5th with the 17th. She knew he was up to something, she just doesn't know what yet. (That's what she was mumbling about after she kicked Fon-Fon.) She doesn't know that Gorneo knows Fon-Fon' secret... yet. Then again, she doesn't know his secret, either. I guess she'll find out next week. (Maybe that would explain her expression in the preview.)

I like how monkey-girl wanted Fon-Fon to meet with an "accident" during the mission, but Gorneo just said she didn't have the skill to do it yet, y'know, because he's a Tenken and all. Ah, I like monkey-girl.

Interesting episode.

If your grasp of JP isn't strong, I'd wait for subs. There's some fighting, and some slapstick, but lots of talking that's pretty heavy, too, and that will frustrate you.
