Now THIS is good news ... the manga is a delightful, lighthearted work that is engaging as well. If they can hold to the source material this will be a good one, I think!

Before I opened the thread, I thought it was an anime original creation but then after seeing it, seems like it is basically yet another Japanese reiteration of Bewitched.
From the looks of it as well the tagline itself, it's good to see more anime taking place in rural towns since we don't get enough of it lately but whatever said, the girl strangely looks like Chitanda with green eyes.

For myself I would not put it on the same level of bewitched ... without going into spoilers, of course. But maybe you mean something by that phrase that is different than what I am imagining?

What I'm trying to say is that the key visual looks like Bewitched because of the girl flying with a possible familiar and broom, not to mention the tagline at the beginning (Aomori city) indicates that it may very well take place in a rural setting which I like to see more of it.

Since it's going to be set in Aomori, I really hope they take a trip to the Sannai-Maruyama site at some point.

Wow, I didn't expect this manga to ever get an anime adaptation. This is a true 'slice of life', sort of like ARIA. If they stick to the manga, we'll get one of the most soothing anime in recent years.
I'm totally looking forward to it.

I feel that it's less Bewitched and more Saint Onii-san in the idea of "the normal life of a person with supernatural abilities".
If it really carries the feel of Saint Onii-san, then consider myself kininarimasu.

It is not really pushing the "moe" envelope ... though I guess the adaptation could take that angle of things. The source material is another issue. Edit: here is an ANN link with a little more about the series http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news...v-anime/.91134 No cast announced yet, but there are a few nice images from the manga at the above link....
