Recently, I am watching "Kami no Shizuku."
The story is about wine and the drama is based on the manga. In Japan, the drama seems like unpopular, but somehow I have kept watching it every week. After I start watching it, I really wanna start to drink wine to get images of wine in my mind! |

I watched this Japanese dorama that centers on high school bullying. The story was fast paced and had cheesy emo moments (kinda made me laugh sometimes). Overall, it's a serious dorama that can make your blood boil. Last edited by mg1942; 2009-02-20 at 00:24. |

Threadomancy time!
Really, I had to do it. I've been checking out the winners of past J-drama awards, and a good portion of them, I have already watched and agree they're good. One awesome drama that I particularly missed (mainly because it was before I got addicted to J-dramas) would be... Tiger and Dragon - I really love how they took the stories of one set of traditional Japanese traditional story telling, changed it slightly so it has more in line with current events, and seamlessly weave both comedy AND family aspects to it. Others I have been catching up on are... Shiroi Haru - as I mentioned before, I'm a Hiroshi Abe fanatic (I think he's the best actor in the business, bar none). And he didn't disappoint in here; he did win best actor for one of the awards that season after all. Akai Ito - a bit darker than stories I'm used to, but since both the main LIs for the female lead are basically osananajimis, I can trudge through it. But it suprised me how well the story was written, even though it had only above average actors. Samurai High School - intentionally cheesy, but man, was it entertaining. Sure part of the reason was because there was an osananajimi LI, but hey, in the end, I was watching it for Samurai-san lol Hataraki Man - this was good, don't get me wrong, but I think I prefer the anime version. I just love Tanaka Rie's voice, that's all lol Mei-chan no Shitsuji - was a bit disappointed here. Wasn't nearly as interesting as Hana Yori Dango or HanaKimi (friends told me it was in the same vein as those two), but I guess it's ok. I dunno, lead female wasn't nearly as intersting as either, while the male lead in the former was a character I love to hate, and the one in the latter is the type I just can NOT hate lol. In here, the male lead was just too perfect that I found him boring.
