What the fuck did I just watched?
Ok we started with all this political drama and mind-break situations where Theo just went full depressed. Lise acting like nothing happened at all hiding her feelings, which is nice considering she's a huge bitch this time. What I find super stupid is the way how Theo doesn't give a damn about what he did with Lise and her betrayal, also his own comrades getting tortured and beated just to finish with Katia being the same moe girl who smiles for everything while Theo just turned his back to everyone else? oh god, this is not just bad writting, is changing and cutting important parts of the story but also giving more screentime to useless characters like Katia. |

Ooh, Katia revealed her true identity and relationship with her father...
I saw CR post something earlier so I'll quote it: Quote:

Unless I'm mis-remembering, I think they waterboarded Sylwia in the LN. They were mostly after Pham and Walter (those two being closer to Iris) more than anybody else.
Spoiler for spoiler:
Also, since you read the LN, does Beatrix's and Lise's characterization feel a little off to you too? |

Spoiler for spoile:
My knowledge of the LN is limited but imo Beatrix is good for now, Lise is too damn edgy in the anime. On one hand Beatrix need more backstory, which was mostly rushed or cut here. On the other hand Lise in the LN was less edgy, more focused on Theo but its ok considering how the adaptation went right into the anime original territory with lots of changes. |

Spoiler for Prequel Spoilers:
And I don't think any of the characters will really be getting backstories. This is just a glorified commercial for the VNs and prequel anyways, much like the TE anime before it. Last edited by Marvelous Cnidarian; 2016-02-28 at 15:58. |

I can't believe Katia would still smile at someone like Theodor. The guy is almost like his sister in that he turns his loyalty around on a dime without hesitation. First, he dumped Katia and completely forgot about his promise to her when Lise came into the scene and, now that Lise betrayed him, he suddenly remembers his promise to Katia again. Seriously, someone shoot the bas****!

The 666th squad is in a bad situation. I feel bad for them, especially Pham and Iris. From what I heard, it seems like they are being beaten/ raped. It seems like the only reason they left Annett alone was to psychologically torturing her.
Look like Lise's personality took a huge turn towards the crazy side.

Assuming what Lise went through with the stasi to become like that, I feel sorry for her, just as I am for Theodor who has no choice now but to either kill her or capture her(my money's on the former).
Being Theodor & Lise is suffering Also, due to lack of a mustache, I guess hair twirling is a girl's way of showing she's a villain now |

I wasn't referring to his loyalty to Irisdina. I was talking about how he sided with Lise, forgot about his promise to Katia to only turn around and promise her again as if nothing happened.

Theodor never forgotten his promise, if he did he wouldn't have take Katia into his unit. Theodor just wanted to believe in Lise because of 2 reasons, 1 they are family, the other is because of his promise to his foster father to protect Lise. It's not shown so outwardly in the anime but Theodor's foster father has a huge influence to Theodor since he's arguably the person Theodor respects the most. So it may seem that Theodor abandon Katia to you but in truth he's just caught in between 2 promises.

more info
i tell you irisdina never has gone raped but.. well she gets beating the crap out of her a lot and i mean a lot the reason rape dint happen was beatrix never a let the stasi do that she is very sadistic so she prefer old style hardcore torture, on another note about lise she suffer stockholm syndrome to the stasis is not like she forget theodore but she was already f... to the point on getting the syndrome so for here or at least his braindwash rape the stasi are 1 and theodore 2 or to put more simple theodore already lose his sister that day when they where kids.
PD and other news in the VN the one getting rape was pham i think and the other girl alredy forgot his name but she was from poland |

As far as Beatrix, she didn't have Iris raped for many reasons (she doesn't have anyone raped as far as I know, that's Axmann's MO), but the big one was that she wanted to keep Iris "clean" so she'd have a hostage to use in negotiations. She might have given Iris a few bruises, considering Beatrix really, really doesn't like Iris, but she got off light compared to say Walter and Pham, or any of Axmann's victims. As for the raping, it sounds to me like it's Walter and Pham getting beat, not a rape. Listen to the scene with a set of headphones and you'll hear their voices coming from separate speakers. We'll get confirmation next episode what happened though. Last edited by Marvelous Cnidarian; 2016-02-29 at 14:38. |
