That Japanese Wikipedia page is amazing. Yes, there is a whole section on things Kawaragi Shiho has said about her brother. It's partly the same sort of joking as seiyuus' yuri comments, I suppose, but she has said things like: "Of course I wear my little brother's underwear."

At this point, she is 33 and he is 25. She apparently sits in a cafe near his office and texts him. She has said she couldn't get boyfriends because her little brother's picture was on her cell phone. And she has called herself a "bro-con seiyuu."

She says she was an only child and asked her parents to give her a little brother when she was six. He was born when she was eight and she was besotted with him from then on.

I don't really know her work very well, but she played Sekai in School Days, Tamaki in Kakyuusei2, Rinka in Gift, and Fuu in Touka Gettan.

I think a "shounen" magazine is one that publishes manga that boys in their early to mid teens are supposed to like. Seems to fit, as long as the censors agree. I mean, boys 13-16 might like this stuff, right? Unless they have real sisters, lol.

Just finished watching it, and that was made of plenty wincest. This just what i'd expect from the author of A Wish of my Sister.

Now to start reading the manga.

Umm, that was better than I expected. It did a good job at introducing the characters, something which the manga kinda lacked. They fitted one chapter into one episode, and although we didn't get CH6 (lol), hopefully I get the feeling we'll be getting more episodes each time a volume comes out (like KissXSis).

Something that bothered me was the sex scene at the end of the episode. Aki stated clearly here that it was her first time while in the manga it was hinted that she wasn't a virgin and seemed pretty experienced. I suppose now we got a clear confirmation about it, since surely the author of the original manga took part in this.

Wow ep1, it really feels more like hentai than anime. I cannot believe that this is aired on TV....

well I feel that with genetic engineering, in the end if two people really love each other in that manner it really shouldn't be "taboo" although that's an ultra liberal thing to say I feel that sexual selection use to pair us away from our families because of the detrimental affects but if we can overcome that barrier the "taboo" of sibling love such as in aki sora wouldn't be as bad.

Nothing new if you watched Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru/I Love My Younger Sister. Aki-Sora does take things to an extreme level though.

Well, it is taboo because of our culture. But if we get into that we'll go on a large tangent. I think sibling love like in this series will always be taboo and will never be accepted, even if science is able to compensate should a child be wanted.

I've never read that one. I did read Ayu Mayu, but that is more of a comedy.
