If they only started now, and there's still no release date. I'd say a minimum of 3 months to complete the series and a boxset release.

The first three dub actresses have been revealed:

Madoka Kaname - Christine Marie Cabanos (Azunyan, K-On!; Ika Musmue)
Kyubey - Cassandra Lee (Ritsu, K-On!)
Sayaka Miki - Sarah Williams (newcomer)

so look like really pushing the newer va on it & yet casting seem indeed we're looking at future generation of english va.

cabanos give already azusa & squid girl yet now madoka yea indeed another breakout english va on the rise.
lee as kyubey oh my yea it yubel all over again anyone remember she did big bad of gx s3 as yubel yea feel vibes on it.
williams still up & coming give only other known character is female with wacky squid heads design & shy/

hmm so i guess when rest of cast is reveal more newer va on it?

I'd say I'm satisfied with nearly all of them,only one that didn't really convince me is Carrie Keranen as Mami.

Also,aniplex is trolling the american audience with that trailer

Hmm, not a fan of Dub Madoka; I guess trying to sound cute is something really hard to get right in dubs.

Sayaka is the best voice in this dub imo, and Kyoko is good too.

Mami. Wut!

Kyubey is somewhat appropriate, meh.

And Homura, I'll never be satisfied with, but what can you do. I like Cristina Vee, but as Homura, I dunno.

The dub doesn't sound too bad, but so far from what I'm hearing, the voice acting lacks some emotion or oomph to it. It overall sounds a bit forced, some girls worse than others. They need to sound a bit more natural.

Madoka got the cutesy voice, but needs more emotion. The part where she answers Homura's question...felt like she was reading off the script rather than acting it.

Sayaka seems to got her voice down. Doesn't sound as energetic as the original though.

Kyouko...well she sounded what I thought she would sound, like a tough girl.

Mami...sounds too old. Yes she sounds mature like in the original, but the original VA still made her sound like a middle school girl. Here? She sounds like in her 30s.

Kyubey is hard to judge since he only had one line and the overall nature of his character. The only thing I can say is he certainly doesn't sound androgynous anymore, but the english VA seems to have the tone down. He just sounds more like a girl now.

Now Homura...I can't exactly judge her yet since I need to see her emotional outbreaks as well as her stoic tone. But to me, Homura sounded too deadpan in the trailer. Homura's original VA made it so she sounded soft and cold, yet with a hint of emotion behind it. The English VA sounded like a robot to me.

But, I'll just have to wait till I actually get the BDs and see for myself before I lay down full judgement.

I listened to that dub trailer a few times. My initial impression was a bit negative, probably because Madoka's loud and squeaky "Rise and shine everyone!" hit me like a ton of bricks on the first couple go-throughs

However, I found that on repeated viewings, the voices started to grow on me a bit.

I think that the characters were casted decently well. In other words, the voices seem to fit the personality of the characters.

Mami sounds a bit too old, but that is pretty much what an English-speaking Mami in her late 20s or 30s would sound like to me.

I think Madoka's voice actress came pretty close to nailing her, so that's good.

Madoka's parents sound good.

Sayaka should sound tomboyish in general but not with a husky/deep tone, and I think her voice actress did a good job of balancing that out.

Hitomi is spot on.

Kyouko is spot on.

Kyubey sounds fine.

Homura... I get the impression that the dubbing staff, or her voice actress, might have mistook her for some Rei-esque character. I agree with Riga92 on her so far. Still, the voice itself sounds right, it's just a touch too deadpan in delivery.

Anyway, I've heard better dubs, but I've also heard much worse. So I'll probably give this one a chance at least.
