We're all a bit too 'relaxed' in the Gash project, so it'll take a while.

As for the series itself, ep42 aired today in Japan... From the looks of it, it'll continue way past 52 eps, unless they're planning on cutting the anime halfway through the plot. It's still episodic in nature, though new characters get introduced and subplots solved.

BTW, it's based on a manga called Konjiki no Gash!!. It's serialized up to 149 chapters now, with 13 volumes released. Around vol 11 and 12, the manga started a continous, major plot, but the anime isn't up to that point yet.

Ah, it's great to hear that Gash is still being worked on, don't worry about the pace!

When I visited Japan a few months back, the manga was being published in Shonen Sunday...Is it still in production? I sure hope so, hehe!

I can't quite endorse "this show is so good," but I am all over every episode the minute it gets subbed. It's so ugly and strange and the humor is so cruel... but I was hooked from the very first ep where Gasshu jumps around stark naked and waves his thing around - I just thought OMG! I have to see where this is going.

edit: "Varukan" is what I meant by cruel humor, that's such an evil silly joke... great stuff.

Aha! Episode 14 is up! It seems that the subbing pace on Gash has been slightly understated in this thread...Great work

Indeed, if one were to tell someone of this series, they'd almost certainly go "Just another Pokemon clone". It's the humor that makes it "so good"...Also the fact that the story does progress and the characters in fact get more developed. Hehe! The "Vulcan" scene really is a favourite...

I'll be back after watching the latest accomplishment by A-E and Aoshi

WOW! 14 was good, but 15 looks to be amazing!
cannot wait for the next episode!

i wonder if pokemon was this good before it got released in north america...

Yeah, ep 14 was awesome. Cant wait for the next one. I was wondering when Tio was going to show up since she appeared in the op. Maybe they will team up from now on. Although since her bookkeeper in an idol, they probably will have to be on the road a lot.

Ah, the second I saw Tio, I recognized her from the intro (she is so cute, dancing with Gash). I think they'll become fast friends, of one might guess from merely that information

Ep 14 was good, but slightly unsatisfactory, since the teaser made me want to teleport into the future to see what happens in ep 15. First real cliffhanger in Gash, no?

As for any editor mistakes, they were certainly slight enough to slip by me... on the first viewing

This series is funny as always. Non-stop laughs. But I'm glad it has its serious moments, like ep 8, 12 and now 14-15.

Ep 8 was my favorite thus far, with koruru. That was sad

happy to see than some people as notice than gash bell is one of the greatest anime series this year!!! Really how can people miss a good show like that ...i'm almost peeing on myself since the first ep ....it's too funny and truly the voice of Gash is just to cool ..the way their face speak it's a pure manga style anime!!!

Glory to Gash ...i hope he became king of the demon !!!

yea gash is one funny dude but I'm not burning the series because it's kiddy grade but still fun though. Btw we've yet to see a male paired up with a female demon

Considering we've seen only 2 female demons and the vast majority of male demons were partnered with a member of the same gender, it doesn't seem unlikely that we're still waiting to see that.

Ep 15 lived up to my expectations... All those tribulations as to "who is friend, who is foe".

It seems at least that the next opponent won't be underestimating Gash as the last batch has been doing... From the teaser it seems that the fight has been carefully set up in favour of the contender.

About the girl demons being nice - Well, I seem to remember a certain fire-demon who didn't seem nice at all. Downright malignant, were I to be the judge

Here's hoping for more Gash goodness in the near future!
