Yes, really outstanding trailer. Shinbou plus. But the voice of Mina Tepes is younger than I expected. The seiyuu, Yuuki Aoi, is only 17 and played Murasaki in Kurenai. I guess it's a reasonable approach, but it will take me a while to get used to it. I imagined a more mature voice, despite her appearance.

None of the Japanese sites I've seen gives a date, just "animation decided." My guess is January or April of next year, but I'm not sure which.

Oh yes, I can see how this series would disappoint; I mean, a vampire series that doesn't feel the need to paint every other frame with a bucket of blood. And the hero--I mean, he's not even a half-breed/genetically engineered/renegade vampire/government paid sorcerer who has dedicated him/her self to the eradication of Chiro___I mean vampire-kind. Clearly that would have been innovative.

Why is anyone disapointed by the manga? What the hell is so wrong with it? It seems that people are being far too critical of this one. There are so many animes regurgitated over and over again and this is the one that get's picked on?

The main complaint (that I've heard) Is that it drags on. Personally I like it save for the fact it's quite graphic. But it's actually extremely romantic which is the side of it I like. And there are politics. Those both get high marks in my book. Somewhat of a dark romance is what I've seen from 6 volumes, but it has some extremely cute moments.

To put it simply... It's just boring.

Also, a rather critical statement, no? With only two statements that don't really say much, it is interesting that you can say people are being "far too critical" and that it is being picked on.

Umm, I'm sensing that I may need to add sarcasm indicator lights here.

I love the Manga and can't wait for the Anime--I'm bored with every other cookie-cutter vampire show out there. Sorry if there was any confusion.

Look at the entire forum. People have been bitching about the anime before even a trailer was released.

Really? From what I can see, everyone that posted was simply stating their opinion of the manga.
Thread opens --> People post their opinions of the original source happens often. This manga just happens to have disappointed more people than the rest, perhaps?
Of course, it is your choice if you want to call any criticism that.

Greatly enjoyed the first three volumes of the manga I picked up after hearing about this franchise and seeing that trailer.
