I just picked up the new Zelda bundle and will be generating my friend code shortly. Anyone wanna check my safari type? :3
That rumor about safari makeup being determined by birthday and region had better not be true. edit: gah, can't even remember my own router password. Never mind. Last edited by JohnNiles; 2013-11-22 at 00:53. |

I just hatched Flabebe 6IV 3 days ago but I can't breed it with anything except Ditto. It has a wrong nature too...........At least, I can easily breed 5IV (to random a new nature) with it.

I heard it's based on your friend code, which would also make sense since the code is in 3 parts of four digits, and you get three pokemon per safari. So if the overall code determines type, and then the digits determine the Pokemon, then you could theoretically manipulate it if you knew how to manipulate the friend code.

It's only a month until Pokebank will be available and something has been bothering me for a while now.
I own Pokemon Black and Black 2, but they are German versions. When I wanted to transfer pokemon from SoulSilver (UK version) to Black, the pokeporter didn't recognize it and didn't work. I had to first trade my pokemon to platinum (GER) before transfer to Black (GER). After researching I found that the pokeporter was language locked. Now I face a similar problem with the pokebank, I selected English when playing pokemon Y and my Black 2 is (still) German. But since X&Y can be played in multiple languages and you can wifi trade foreign pokemons, do you guys think it will be possible to transfer my German pokemon to the bank and take them out with my English Y game?

I must say, I'm pretty miffed at the clear favor given towards the female avatar in terms of trainer customization. Three times as many hair styles and clothing options. What the hell?

I hear that the official tournaments (and ranking?) won't allow Pokemon from older games. Which is pretty interesting, because people are not allowed to use Pokemon from games that could be cheated on and RNGed.
On the other hand, that means you can't use stuff like move tutor moves like Trick or Counter as well as special moves like Tri Attack Togekiss or Metal Sound Zapdos.

Just breeding for good IV pokemon, got my first shiny via breeding and it wasn't even using the Masuda method.
I have now gotten 4 shinys, 3 from safari 1 from breeding, in this game alone I have gotten more shinys than in Gen.2+ combined (excluding red Gyarados). I've read on bulbapedia that the normal chance for shiny in Gen.6 is now doubled (1/4096), if Masuda method is still 5x more likely, is the chance now 1/819.2?

Bad news of the past 24 hours is a tool that allows one to view all the moves the opponent has and can even view the move they've chosen that turn.
This of course have resulted in mass panic and arguments on various Pokemon boards.
