I saw someone on another forum point out that if Buu won't wake up for two months, they could either throw him in the Hyperbolic Time chamber or have Whis use his time powers on Buu to wake him up in time.

If the titles are right, Frieza will replace Buu. Which frankly is the worst bit. I wouldn't care if he replaced Roshi but seriously?

I mean, the teamwork's going to be awful already, what with half the team having been killed or near-killed by him in the past. Gohan probably still has PTSD about that whole thing. But we also ditch one of the most interesting and lovable fighters who would also have been very powerful and interesting to see fight? I really hope this is just a very elaborated fake.

Also the whole "this is really just for the money" thing kinda flies out of the window, if you're so desperate you'd hire Frieza for help there clearly is something fishy going on. Well, he ought to tell them anyway sooner or later, 'cos once they're at the Tournament everyone's going to be "OH IT'S THOSE DICKS FROM UNIVERSE 7 WHO GOT US ALL DOOMED" and explanations will be in order.

Well.... If you think about it almost all members of Universe 7 Team are former enemies of Goku. Still, I think Krillin might get a heartattack if this new spoiler is true

Yeah, well, but...

- Roshi: never an enemy
- Gohan: never an enemy
- Krillin: never an enemy, more of a rival
- Tien: confrontational at the beginning, but fundamentally never did anything too bad and only ended up being a rival
- Piccolo: once an enemy, never actually did kill anyone as he was defeated without having the time to
- Vegeta: well, ok, we know how that went but at this point they're all over it
- #17 and #18: enemies but they never fought very seriously, except Vegeta no one should care that much. It never was very 'personal', they just wanted to kill Goku, but then things spiraled out with Cell
- Buu: actually the good side of him so arguably not even entirely the same person who fought Goku and caused all that damage, that part of him was destroyed

None of them comes to the absolute irredeemable evil that was Frieza. Who by the way even came back for more twice, because he really, positively couldn't let go of his desire to kill Goku. Plus he's only got more Hell to look forward to in the future so he may actually have a reason to just wish to be erased - better than eternal suffering. That's really a time bomb to have in your team. Freakin' Cell would be a better choice, at least he only cares for strong fighters and would be far more excited about the whole thing.

Wow, that is one hell of a plot twist. They made the trailer, the OP, everything and now they take Buu out?!?! WTF?!?!

In some ways, watching this show is a precious experience just to witness the trainwreck of fucks given rapidly crashing and imploding on itself in a singularity .

Eh, Dragon Ball survived GT, it'll survive this. At worst we'll just archive it in our heads as 'basically fanfiction' next to the Star Wars prequels and the Matrix sequels .
