****** Spoilers*******

So what time period did the movie take place in, compared to the special and the show. Also, how long after the series did the special take place. Its confusing why hes always leaving GTF, and at the end of the special he was about to ask her to marry him, but he still hasn't done it with her the 2nd time in the movie? Also, I thought they ended up getting married at the end of the series, but that never happened.......

@Robotech: I also looked for a site, but There wasn't any good...

Yes, the movie is awful... I absolutly hated the whole beginning and that Onizuka somehow wasn't with Fuyusuki anymore... so I decided that I never watched the movie.^^

a special??? Where?..Why didn't I see it?

Me, too, GTO got me downloading more j-dorama.^^ They're really good compared to the sucking series we get to see here...arrg...
The guy who payed Noboru and Natsuos brother in Summer Snow is named Oguri Shun. He payed a totally different character in Stand Up!! ^^quite cute.

GTO Live Action - ENDING

***spoiler***

do not read this if you don't want to know anything about the ending!!

i just watched all 12 eps of GTO, and im a little confused with what happend in the ending.
first of all, did Toudo-san report his father to the police?
and why the hell is Onizuka going to work at another school with Fuyutsuki working in his place!!?!?!

i don't get it?

if anyone could answer, it would be great, thanx!

1- yes he did report his father to the police by sending them a fax
2- because the director asked him to be a temporary susbtitute teacher in her twin sister school

Heh me too! Now I'm watching Virgin Road, another drama with Takashi Sorimachi (GTO). I've only seen the first episode but it looks cool too.

Don't forget to pick up the TV special and movie.
The manga was not popular so they decided to make a tv series. Hmmm...
If that were true, I wouldn't understand the reasoning behind it.

I'm positive the comic was popular even before the TV series, I know cause alot of people introduced it to me way back before the dorama came out. It's was just slow to catch up because shonen MAGAZINE sucks and the only reason people started buying it was cause of GTO. Well the only reason I bothered to read it lol.

Yeah, I just finished watching GTO Live Action the other day and I must say it was such a great series! I really loved it! =D It's really one of those "feel good" shows. ^_^ Hehe .. I don't think they're making a second season though because this was made in 1998 .. i doubt that they're going to make more

As for the ending where Onizuka works at another school .. it's explained in the Special. ^_^

What is the GTO Special? I assume itīs a longer episode? Does it take place after the tv series and before the movie?

There is a GTO anime movie?

Is that 'GTO (LA) Special' animated?

Note the (LA). It stands for Live Action.

There was a Live Action TV Drama of Great Teacher Onizuka. The events in the Special happen after the TV series ended. The movie came after the Special.

Watch them in this order:

GTO TV Drama
GTO TV Special
GTO Movie

I liked both the anime and the live action. The live action was pretty cool, kinda had some advantages to the anime, though the anime was longer, but the live action was cool...yeah
