I don't know how much we can trust what that guy said considering his story about the post-apocalyptic Amazons was completely bullshit.

They removed a scene from the manga. When Kiruko is hospitalized due to going through her first period.

So the guy's story was actually real. Guess the mother was from the institute and she passed her powers on to her son. Turned into a hiruko after being killed which allowed the men to escape.

I was not expecting such a dark twist at the end.

The animation was all over the place. Sometimes looked amazing, sometimes looked like crap. It's like there were several animation directors doing their own thing.

I like twist in the ending. Every few eps the show does something to reiterate how insane their world is.

I'm really pissed off seeing how much mimihime had suffered until the end and how she saw what will happen to her in the future. It's not ohm fault and it was so nice of mimihime to face her fear for her, but we know how she will end up...

Well, yeah, it was her. Makes sense she would be in the same place as Mimihime since the two are obviously going to become close friends. At this point it's safe to assume every single Hiruko the MCs have fought were students at the Academy. I guess the fish with human limbs might have been Kona.

A bit disappointed the author appears to be going with brain transplant to prolong life. That doesn't work, a human brain has as finite a lifespan as the rest of the body, and a lot of the time it ends up failing before the rest of the body does. That said, I have no doubt the director is alive in the present, maybe in the body of Maru's twin hence why he was tasked to kill someone who looked exactly like him?

Yeah, it seems the whole "Transferring oneself into another body using brain transplant" thing is more of a major plot than I hoped

I was amused by Maru reading On the Beach, because hey, if you're travelling a wrecked post-catastrophe Japan and having to fight horrible monsters, what better way to relax than reading about the last days of humanity as a radioactive shroud caused by nuclear war slowly spreads to claim the last survivors in Australia?

Robin is trash. Taking advantage of the boy who looked up to you in order to get the body of the sister you've been lusting after for years. Robin making Haruki look in the mirror as he dose this show that he know Haruki had a crush on his sister. So fucked up.
