We dont know that, there are two possibilities:
1 he didnt partipate cuz he was busy doing something else.
2 he did participate but couldnt make it through the preliminaries.

It said at the end that his team was there for the party. I would imagine that includes Ouuryuu, Bova and Roygun.

Yeah, but that still doesnt mean they can just drop everything and chat whenever. I imagine there's some kind of schedule they'd receive reports with. If it had been the finals and Issei hadn't told them anything then that'd be a missed opportunity, but this was just the end of stage one.

As for Roygun and the others, they were there but didnt really have any major sway on the last battle, so there wasn't anything for them to say. At most we'd get Roygun talking about her first experience as a member.

Well I'm just being nitpicky. Very good volume though. Really looking forward to everything that's going to be in Shin with the main tournament, Hades being shady, the new Longinus and their possessors, Kanzaki, Elmenhilde's and Le Fay's development, etc.

Can't wait to read Shin Volume 1.

But is it me or does anyone think Ishibumi needs to write a DX volume for the matches in the main tournament that people want to see fully that are not Issei's, Vali's, or Rias'? Like Sairaorg vs Shooting Star, Dulio vs Tobio, and Cao Cao vs Surtr. And maybe Indra vs Mahabali. I want to see at least one of those fully covered.

They did but if àppears she still didnt realized it. Even when ophis slapped a grim reaper into nothingness. She still looked surprised. In the past kuno build a shrine for ophis at hyoudo residence roof. Wonder why she still cant figurr out ophis identity.
