Still watching and enjoying this series, even if I've given up waiting for a balanced view of Nobunaga that takes in all his massacres; there's been foreshadowing of events like the invasion of Iga, but I've stayed for the comedy.

Though the Itto Ikki had the possibly commendable goal of independence for peasants and monks from the Damiyo, the shiny haired monk really comes off as a slimeball promising cheap salvation to desperate people. It was nice to get a reminder that Chidori feels guilt for so much killing, though Suke should feel guilty for a few things as well...
