For some reason isekai story have gain huge popularity in Japan. The author must have wanted the LN series to go that line.

Just trying to say that the novel is becoming increasely corny due to the author trying to cater to modern Japanese taste. In fact, Seirei no Gensouki is rank quite high in Japanese pollings.

There was a moment before volume 21, where the popularity of this LN would have seemed poorly deserved to me, I had the idea that this novel was terrible and that I was just wasting time reading it,i was only reading cuz the heroines were cute I only cared about the harem and the girls, but now I've changed my mind, after vol 21 finally the author started to write good stuff, I like what he is doing, I like the lore a lot and I hope the author continues developing the story, I don't care anymore about the dumb girls or stupid the harem (that will never happen lol)

Now I could not care less, if all the female heroines marry others guys, die or forget about the main character, I just want to know about the demons, true god, divine war and mostly transcendentals, all this time the heroines were the ones that were stopping the story with their fanservice

i consider seirei a decent novel which is worth reading and i am glad is doing well in those pollings, because the Ln finally deserves it.

I dare say 3 to 4 decades even, it's crazy how long isekai has been an active major plot for.

Hasn't it always been predictable though. At least for the most part, the attractive point for this novel maybe in the way the story is told and the parts the author focuses on writing about. After vol 21 however, I have to admit I find the plot to have started getting interesting, the sort I'd want to read to see what happens next too, not only how the author writes it.

The tweet also gives more information about the cast. Latifa, Liselotte, Christina, Flora, Sayo and Rio as a child join the the teenage Rio, Miharu, Celia and Aisia as confirmed characters. Going by the cover and the cast it seems that for some reason or the other Rio will be demonstrating for the girls the tranformation spirit arts with some funny results.

When is the release date for the new book? any news/info for it yet? While I'm okay for the drama CD, I don't watch/hear it so I don't care much about it.

The last book already said at the end that the volume 22 was scheduled for the 1st of August. The last line of the image also has that release date on it so no changes for the time being it seems.

The drama CD announcement (I guess) link found on reddit. So, is it safe to assume that the drama CD is non cannon or something? At least the events don't take place at the time of vol 22 no? I just jumped to 26:11 and listened to Aishia's VA read the synopsis, but it seems that they also release bits of the drama CD later in the video. So my question is due to my understanding of the synopsis:
"Due to the effects of a magic tool Flora brought to the mansion, Rio and the girls get younger and end up inside some mysterious space where you can't get out if you don't do 〇〇(unspecified). Orders for what they have to do keep coming from the persona in the magic tool-cum-the voice from the heavens/sky, who soon started having fun with them and giving absurd orders."
So I guess this either happens on earlier vols or Rio got back their memories in vol 22?

Until now all of the cds have been canon, so it just makes sense that the next will be it too. Remember that a cd being included with a book doesn't mean its events will happen in that book. The events of the third cd happen in volume 17 where it is included, but the events of the first two cds happen in volume 13 despite them being included in volumes 12 and 14.

For the time being I can just tell you that the cd's events shouldn't happen in previous volumes. Sayo's appearance already made it impossible for the cd to happen before volume 20, that it is when she moves into Rio's mansion. The only idle time during volume 20 where those events can be allocated is during the three days until Rio has the duels against William and Gilbert, but if the cd's events happen at that time Satsuki, Sara, Ouphia, Alma and Charlotte should have been present too, but their seiyus aren't part of the cast this time. That's why I think it is unlikely for the volume 20 to be the one where the cd's events are allocated, volume 21 is impossible too obviously.

Now that the chances of the cd's events happening at previous volumes like the second one's seems so slim we can just proceed to look for ways for the cd's events to happen during volume 22 or maybe 23 if things go just like with the first or third cds.

Possibility 1: Rio is remembered at the beginning of the next volume and the cd's events happen during its latter half or some idle period between volume 22 and 23
Possibility 2: Rio is remembered during the next volume's middle of later part and the cd's events happen during volume 23.

Indeed, that makes sense, it can't be anything before 20 while both 20 and 21 are out, and with the way 21 ended, Celia probably holds the key to Rio being remembered in some way, it might even be the thing mentioned in the novel title; "Formula of pure white."

talking about the next volume just made me more anxious to know what happens next.

I just remember but when I'm re-watching the anime, They really made a blatant clue on the connection of Miharu and Aisha. overlapping with each other or being one or something. And indeed, they are connected in one way or another.

I thought of exactly the opposite, in 21 Aisha kinda said that different from Miharu, she is yet isn't Lina's reincarnation. I took that as the author hinting he won't be offing any of the 2 characters as fusion material for the other, besides, Aishia has so much weight as a character to be absorbed into Miharu. Miharu existing keeps the possibility of her making a comeback as Lina in terms of abilities, while Aishia existing is well, Aishia; she's Haruto's partner in the spiritual pact, even if Haruto gets back his divinity and authority, I can't see them breaking the spirit pact, Aishia just feels like she comes in a set with Haruto and she sorta does as they are connected on a soul level. Anyway, my point is, they play roles so different be it position wise, personality wise or abilities wise, that it would be asinine to erase one of them.

I'm not saying that those two would merge. Aishia was made solely for Rio's sake. I mean that the anime clearly stated a hint on the connection between Aishia and Miharu.

the drama CD can't be set after Rio became transcendental, his appearance in the cover is the one he had before he became transcendental, (black hair, yellow eyes) though he could change his hair color from white to black with his magic instrument, there is no magical device known to change his eye color from red to yellow, and even if such a device existed, he would not have a logical reason to hide his true appearance, before he hid his black hair so as not to be recognized as Rio, now he no longer has the need to hide his normal hair color, his hair natural color is white, why would he risk being recognized by wearing fake hair color? Doesn't make sense

That's more than most likely the young version of Rio, the synopsis has them turn young after all.
